    So I originally put in a withdrawal request on the 28th of January. I then got an email from them on February 2nd that I needed to submit a W9 and that my withdrawal wouldn’t be processed until I did. I emailed them the W9 on the 5th (and received a 1099 in the mail from them two days ago).

    My withdrawal still hasn’t gone through. I emailed them on the 12th, and contacted them through the website yesterday, both with no response… Anyone else having issues with them?

This is a very simple deal, where we’re assigning two liabilities from [FantasyHub] over to DraftKings in an effort to do the right thing for their player base, which has a nearly 80 percent overlap with our own. We never want to see our player base go through an experience that’s negative like this. What happened here was reprehensible. It is a breach of trust for these players and we share a lot of these players with them. We just didn’t think it was the right thing to do to sit on the sideline and let that happen. We had the ability to step up and do something.”

    I asked Steven/Andrew/Chris to address the charity donations when they make a statement today. That plus the 500% deposit bonus promo they just recently promoted.

    I have no idea how much we’ll actually hear from them but these are two potentially big issues that need to be addressed.

    It shows for me as yesterday, but yeah. Also have “too many tickets” (lol) and when I messaged them on support no response and normally they are fast.

    This is probably the only positive news in this thread. I could look past the business crumbling or a sale or litigation… but using charity to garner business and then not writing checks to them would be absolutely disgusting and I surely hope that is not the case.

    Ok so I think this may be a totally seperate issue than the % of rake that goes to charity. It still helps the image in my mind…. for now atleast. You cant just lie about something like that and prey on peoples innate ability to be charitable when given the opportunity. I never deposited any $ on FH but I played a few freerolls on their site to get a feel for it and when i went to make a deposit I realized they didnt have paypal at the time so i decided against it. I hope for the sake of DFS that everything gets straightened out this weekend.

    Oh boy this doesn’t sound good. I put in a withdraw request on 2/12 and havent heard anything. My account still says processing and I have messaged them for the past few hours and it says they are active within 15 minutes nut they arent responding to my inquiry.

    if a buyout is in the process, then there is no reason for Steven himself to not address that the player funds are safe. You’ve all been robbed.

    These kind of morons that run these small sites are literally in the process of bringing DFS down…..some politicians will look at this and see people getting robbed, and make drastic decicions

    a plausible reason for a buyout right now would be that player funds are not there, and that the capital infusion from the buyout would restore them. My uniformed guess is they are working to get people paid. can they get the job done? no idea.

    It’s incredibly hard to do if you can’t truthfully say it. These guys almost assuredly don’t have your money and are pinning their hopes on a buyer, which I’m guessing will be at close to a 0 dollar purchase price. These situations don’t spring up overnight and they have probably been looking for a buyer for weeks or months. The fact they don’t yet have one is telling. The question is whether the owners will prioritize doing what’s right for the customers or try to act like they have leverage and trying to make money for themselves.

    This is one of those situations that’s pretty easy to read from the outside. Most situations like this are if you know what you’re looking for.

    im curious, why not just play on dk or fd full time after the first time? why keep trying these small sites?

    Speaking for myself:

    1) Up until this weekend, the customer service was by far the best and most responsive I’ve seen.
    2) Promotions
    3) Overlay
    4) Great website, both for the lobby and the live results (especially compared to DK, which is simply retched)
    5) Charity donations

    Now maybe it’s all gone up in smoke, but it was by far my favorite site…until this weekend.

    I will only be out a few hundred dollars (total balance, my actual out of pocket would only be about 70 bucks) if this all was a sham, and my charities will only be out about 30 bucks, but I will miss the experience as much as anything. Playing on FH was fun, dammit.

    the other 2 times were actual sportsbooks. The last being with Empire Sports who was raided by the FBI right after the World Series. I won $25,000 on the Yankees but they had their offices in Canada when they were suppose to be operating in South America. With DK, I’m down 2k. With FH, I’m up 10k. So why keep losing on DK, when I was doing so well on FH? Now, I have to go back to giving my money to DK. Was so much fun while it lasted.
