So I originally put in a withdrawal request on the 28th of January. I then got an email from them on February 2nd that I needed to submit a W9 and that my withdrawal wouldn’t be processed until I did. I emailed them the W9 on the 5th (and received a 1099 in the mail from them two days ago).

My withdrawal still hasn’t gone through. I emailed them on the 12th, and contacted them through the website yesterday, both with no response… Anyone else having issues with them?

3/10/16 UPDATE: DraftKings strikes a deal to cover all unpaid FantasyHub balances and liabilities. Read more from David Purdum on ESPN!

DraftKings Co-Founder Matt Kalish’s Statement: “This is not an acquisition deal or an asset purchase deal. This is a very simple deal, where we’re assigning two liabilities from [FantasyHub] over to DraftKings in an effort to do the right thing for their player base, which has a nearly 80 percent overlap with our own. We never want to see our player base go through an experience that’s negative like this. What happened here was reprehensible. It is a breach of trust for these players and we share a lot of these players with them. We just didn’t think it was the right thing to do to sit on the sideline and let that happen. We had the ability to step up and do something.”

Yeah, we’re thrilled. Thanks for the continued maturity.

I wasn’t going to say anything further, but screw it. I haven’t advocated anything in over a week other than actually reading what has been posted and not going after anyone’s families. Nothing more. I want my money too. Your troll post had the intended effect of pissing me off, so congratulations. You must really feel like a big man now.

How big would you feel if some idiot went completely unhinged and did something to one of these guys spouses? Would you show any remorse? Or would you just disappear like the other bullies that can’t handle reality once it’s shown to them?

Good Morning Plappert Is today the day you man up? Or are you just planning on kicking the can down the road over the weekend? Im sure I know the answer

If anyone is organizing a group to pursue legal action, add me to this list. I think I had about $180.xx and some change in my account. Sick of this and his BS replies last week. What a bunch of losers.

Me too, I had around $800 in my account.

A couple of brand new RG posters already offered to organize us. Apparently Plappert people. Be careful. With multiple state jurisdictions it’s tough.
Hopefully ANDREW BUSA, CHARLIE BUSA , JIM PLAPPERT and STEVEN PLAPPERT will at least regret doing this for the rest of their sad lives.

  • johnnyj580

    +1 for $300

Also, would be some meta-villain move if the PlappBus people were behind the SNs claiming to organize.

Some real conspiracy theorists in this thread.

  • tvsfrink

I have it on good authority that FH money was used to fund the Trump campaign up until a few weeks ago.

  • Kruzdog

I have been in touch with many of those with funds at stake here. Aalbanese, elslappo, and johnnyj, if you would like to PM me, I can add you to the list.

I think it’s definitely time to start looking into legal recourse. I am pretty disappointed that rotogrinders hasn’t really given us much help or support especially considering that a lot of us joined the site because of them. All we have gotten so far is some vague statement. I saw that dailyfantasycafe has already went after them for unpaid advertising fees.

Can someone from rotogrinders please help us out? I feel like we are just voicing our frustrations and nothing is going to get accomplished. We have a better shot at getting something done if we can band together and get something organized.

I drop by every couple of days to see what’s up. So thankful this didn’t go down during NFL. I was running more through here than I would have been comfortable losing. Still sucks I am out money but I know others have it worse and I feel bad for you guys.

Conflict, your frustration is warranted. What I said in my last post is still ongoing. Don’t write off your funds yet.

There have been at least two third party sites negotiating with FantasyHub. They are now focused on one deal that would pay all funds owed to players and charities. I don’t know which third party site this is. A person from the industry that I know outside of FantasyHub has led talks. While a deal has not been signed off, I’m still getting positive updates on progress.

I connected David Purdum of ESPN with this person outside of Hub working with the third party. Here is a statement Purdum put on Facebook today:

What I don’t understand about negotiations with failed sites is what is being negotiated? Which way does the money flow? Does the third party actually pay the owners of the failed site as well as taking on the tens of thousands of dollars of liability to the players?

It’s kind of sickening to think people who unethically used player deposits to fund operations till they ran out would then get paid at the end of that. Is that what happened with Fantasy Up—iteam cut good ol’ Danny boy a check?

Great update Cal. Everyone, be patient and try to have a positive outlook for once. Do not bite the hand that feeds you.

I used “negotiating” pretty loosely here. “Discussing bailing out FantasyHub” may be more appropriate. I believe the iTeam/FantasyUp deal only involved balances. In this Hub deal the charities are involved as well – a bit more to discover, discuss, and put on paper in the legal document.

It will be “ongoing” until it isnt. We have waited long enough and its time to start forcing a resolution

Find a better cause to white knight for. No one cares about your idiotic hypotheticals. What if we said bad things about Hitler, that okay with you? boss? Is it?

Yes, feel free to insult Hitler all you want. Also feel free to harass Eva Braun at work.

I’ll give you a moment to Google Eva Braun. And a few more to read the rest of the thread.
