So I originally put in a withdrawal request on the 28th of January. I then got an email from them on February 2nd that I needed to submit a W9 and that my withdrawal wouldn’t be processed until I did. I emailed them the W9 on the 5th (and received a 1099 in the mail from them two days ago).
My withdrawal still hasn’t gone through. I emailed them on the 12th, and contacted them through the website yesterday, both with no response… Anyone else having issues with them?
3/10/16 UPDATE: DraftKings strikes a deal to cover all unpaid FantasyHub balances and liabilities. Read more from David Purdum on ESPN!
DraftKings Co-Founder Matt Kalish’s Statement: “This is not an acquisition deal or an asset purchase deal. This is a very simple deal, where we’re assigning two liabilities from [FantasyHub] over to DraftKings in an effort to do the right thing for their player base, which has a nearly 80 percent overlap with our own. We never want to see our player base go through an experience that’s negative like this. What happened here was reprehensible. It is a breach of trust for these players and we share a lot of these players with them. We just didn’t think it was the right thing to do to sit on the sideline and let that happen. We had the ability to step up and do something.”
They owe me a little under $2.00. LOL. But obviously I would never claim it at this point. It is nothing. But that is hardly the point. I know there are a lot of people that beat me that they owe MY deposit. And I want those people that earned it to get it. As well as the charities I won money for before I lost.
If you’re man enough to say you’ve made a mistake, you are better than many and have my forgiveness and respect. Based on your original post, I thought you knew who ran the marathon. It’s all good, my friend :)
Maybe we’ll all get paid tomorrow.
Well, that’s the point. You file complaints anywhere and everywhere you can to compel them to do what’s right.
Filed a dispute on paypal for a whopping $45.00, we’ll see what happens.
Very funny…maybe Jessica Alba will show up at my front door asking me to give her a sponge bath as well.
I don’t see any reason that couldn’t happen…
She’s busy with me right now, but I’ll be sure to send her your way in a year or two….
Go check out the Derek Jeter rumors about her. Half of the Hollywood babes might be knick named Ron Mexico.
So you’re saying there’s a chance!!!

Any new sources, or is this all a sham, just fired off another email/phone call to the AG’s in TX and KY, asking them to look into fraud and possible charity scams from these crooks.
“Grant can watch, but he has to pay $20.”
I’m just gonna go find a cash machine.
If these negotiations for a take over or whatever are real, I’d like to know what’s holding them up.
There could be a law enforcement/government inquiry/investigation into the potential “Charity Nonpayment” aspect. If so, the new buyer will want to make sure that they will not be responsible for any such monetary penalties that may be levied against FH in the future. The potential buyer’s due diligence could definitely slow things up. This is also just my opinion for one possible reason we have heard crickets. The longer this goes on the worse it gets for everyone.
For me, $125 is a fair price to pay if justice is given to these jack wagons.
Forget justice. I want my $136.50.
I hope they get life in prison over my $14.55
I just got a $1600 vet bill for my dog. Sure would be nice if Plappert would pay up… insert profanities here
man up plappert
So which AG is the best one to complain to at this point? The one of the state I live in? I’m seeing TX, KY, aren’t/weren’t FH based in TN? Tired of waiting, might as well get what satisfaction I can out of complaining to the proper authorities.

At this point I’m guessing nothing is going to happen, here is what I have been doing everyday and I suggest others do the same, those that ran fantasyhub need to be investigated for their crimes, and any action taken against them by law enforcement is well warranted. These crooks need to learn their lesson.
Email of Texas Attorney General. – https://texasattorneygeneral.gov/cpd/charities-and-nonprofits-complaints-and-enforcement
You can fill out that form alerting them to personal fraud, along with possible charity fraud at Fantasy Hub. Needless to say that with the AGs stance on DFS in Texas, along with charities possibly being scammed out of funds (which is a hot button topic), I have had some good talks with them.
The more of us that email in, the higher the chance they seek action against them. I know its not our money back, but at least they can learn a life lesson and face punishment for criminal activity for stealing our funds and possibly those deemed for charity if in fact they did not give those funds to charity, which is why many of us played there.
EDIT: I would also recommend contacting the KY AG here as well

I’ll also add that starting a complaint with paypal/credit card company is likely your best bet to get your funds back.

I think if Fantasy Hub owners came forward and explained what happened and their plan for paying everyone and the charities back, people here would have been pissed but overall very understanding. We would have realized DFS doesn’t need more bad press and I think “we” would have given Fantasy Hub plenty of time (months) to make this right as long as they kept in touch with real updates.
Instead, these guys ran a unsustainable deposit bonus promotion weeks before closing, repeatedly told players to “Wait until Friday”, then just closed the doors on Friday and refused to give any comment on the situation.
I honestly cannot believe the lack of uproar here, on social media and in the national media this story is getting. It makes me wonder that much more about why the NYTimes ran so hard with “Ethan-Gate”, which was a complete fabrication of a story, when they have an actual story in Fantasy Hub that they are largely ignoring. It certainly seems like the “Ethan-Gate” media cycle was bought and paid for.
I’m also a tad disappointed in all of the touts that shilled and recommended Fantasy Hub. If I steered clients to an investment banker that closed it’s doors with no warning or explanation, I would feel absolutely sick. I’ve yet to see one person or group apologize for endorsing Fantasy Hub, especially a trade organization that supposedly held members up to set standards.

Perhaps this is a stupid question with a very obvious answer but when an individual starts a complaint with paypal and or a cc company and they are lucky enough to win… Where does the money come from? Who pays the bill. Dont get what PP or a cc company did wrong in this scenario and why they would be forced to pay a bill that Plappert and company rang up.
Also. Like everyone else I am getting tired of waiting for a resolution. If nothing happens by the end of this week it is officially time to pool our resources and take real, sustainable action against Fantasy Hub and the individuals that have stolen our funds. Some people have already started this process but personally I just want to wait till the end of this week to see if a deal can be arranged.
