Any chance we get contests on DK for the WBC? Seems like a slim chance since they have never done spring training games but we did get Olympic golf and basketball contests as well as the fact that they run preseason NBA and NFL contests. Can’t wait for baseball to be back!

I am in the money in one with both pitchers and 2 players each from Japan and USA. Also have both pitchers with 4 USA guys and 1 Japanese player, but that one I’m only at 47 points.

  • Mmorrison09

Anyone have a link for Japan starting lineup? Thanks
    Never mind found it lol

Regular season will leave your heart black. But you just keep coming back for more each night. In preparing for the upcoming season I was looking over some numbers from last year, man…lot of bad memories brought back of some garbage lineups. But… donations at the ready for 2017.

  • VRod305

I’ll never forget opening day last year when some guy won the one contest on Vogt’s late home. He was low owned and playing at 10:30, so it took balls to play him.

  • VRod305

This may be bold (not really), but I’m going 100 percent Kershaw on opening day. I feel like there will definitely be plenty of value to be had and if I remember correctly, the price should be reasonable.

  • VRod305

I’m just ready for something new with baseball. My NBA line ups are getting worse by the day.

  • VRod305

Sugano only 33 percent? Must be a ton of dead line ups. Maybe I can get to the money.

I just need it so that one of the two pitchers get bombed. There are enough stacks with both pitchers from this game that if both do modestly well (let’s say, 8 FP each), I’m doomed.

I have a few solid stacks with USA bats and Roark, and a few with Japan and Sugano. If either pitcher does well and the other doesn’t, then I can probably pull some decent wins out.

But if both Roark and Sugano do well (a combo I do not have any of), yeah it’s over.

Yeah, I think I’m the opposite. I had a lot of Lopez, but I’m still over the field on Roark and Sugano.

The Netherlands OF being so highly owned was a real surprise to me and possibly will hurt after Balentein’s game

  • VRod305

I totally missed on Balentein. That was a big mistake on this slate.

A to the freakin men. (Amen). With all the resting and limited minutes and guys being shut down permanently…

    Goodnight, NBA.

  • VRod305

Totally. I got screwed the one night with LeBron resting, then tonight I played Valentine and James Johnson and was immediately toast.

  • KindGuy

Speaking of bad memories……. never stack the Rangers. They will suck the soul out of you leaving you wondering how a lineup with Desmond, Lucroy,Beltrr, etc. manage to get shut out by terrible pitchers like Straily. Ugh.

  • KindGuy

On the flip side, I will be paying more attention to base stealers. Hamilton and Betts will be in a lot more of my lineups this season.

  • LuckyLuc3434

Well that’s a wrap on the DFS portion of the WBC. The baseball has been great and I’m looking forward to watching the final tomorrow.

Only a couple short weeks now to finish building my spreadsheet before the season starts! Can’t wait

Referencing your earlier post, I was hoping for a rainout as well. I was tied with you in the Four Seamer and in sole possession of 1st in the Solo Shot. I was at least hoping for a 5 inning game. Went from $290 in winnings to $65. I think that Hosmer double in the 9th cost me about $100 alone. Really wish the Netherlands and PR bats had continued their production throughout the game like was anticipated. Oh well, still a fun couple of nights of baseball.

Yes, that Hosmer double dropped me down almost $200 I think between the different contests!! It had been a miracle though to last that far through the US/JPN with as little offence as their was, so I don’t think that we can complain much…

I think last season there were 2-3 times where I stacked the Reds or was going to and didn’t include Hamilton. He gets on, steals second, steals third and scores and had 15 points after 1 inning. So frustrating.

  • VRod305

One thing I kind of want to attack early this season is getting on offenses that are perceived as bad (Braves/Twins) but are much better than given credit for an came on late last season.

  • cinthree

All the talk of who should be MVP (should be Jones, honestly), but my vote – Mexican Coors! That stadium in Jalisco definitely the MVP.
