What on Earth are they doing with the “Twelve Days Of Giveaways” “promotion”? All but two of the days have been laughable that they are even trying to disguise this charade as marketing. I know they don’t have to do this, but next year they probably shouldn’t because this is a joke.

I wish DK would give it a rest with the gimmicks, ploys and tricks and focus on simply making their product better. Their large field $3-$8 contests typically fill 1 hour early every day (basketball and baseball) for the past 2 years. How hard is it to look back at recent similar contests to know your sizing is not even in the ballpark? They’d get way more entries and could lower rake this way. Nobody wants to play in the weak secondary GPPs.

I don’t even “unwrap” these so called gifts. A gift usually means receiving something at no personal cost. A gift where they make you spend to receive is just off putting for a billion dollar corporation. We can go on and on about the big FU that DK has layed on us the past couple years with rake increases, late swap takeaway, screwing over affiliates, ruining fpps, and creating a laughable refer a friend program claiming they would make it better. I bet they get barely any referrals as I’m sure many love getting 25% of a friends deposit of 10 . The contests keep filling and rake keeps getting paid. Only DK can spin things to make it seem we are receiving gifts when in actuality we are paying for our own gifts AND their gifts. Happy Festivus!

That was their 3 day “super giveaway” and the only one that was somewhat decent. Most of the other days were spend $5-$10 to get $0.25 or less in value which is what triggered this thread.

these promotions are pretty much bullshit ..I have been a TVG account holder since the day it started for the most part..and I remember one day putting like 8-900 in wagers in one day via their website and I didnt even earn enough wagering rewards to get 5.00 LOL I am sure now I have a shit load of wagering rewards but I don’t need them so I barely ever look I am sure by now I have maybe 1000.00 I mean I sure as shit hope I would but who knows..now they do whats called a money back special but the max is 10.00 well I do not think I have made that low of a win bet on a horse in 20 years. I am not a high roller by any stretch, but when it comes to the horses I do my fair share of wagers but never once do I ever get a solid bonus or hey thanks for giving us your business for over a decade here is 100.00 voucher…everything is geared towards getting new players, they dont care about the old ones once they see your not going anywhere. Its the same with DK the giveaways are a waste…you have to spend 8.00 to get a 3.00 contest what is that 3/5 odds? Would you take 100.00 and bet a 3/5 shot? I wouldn’t. It just doesn’t make sense.

But these giveaways really are not geared toward people like us..its just a lot of show boating to get new suckers….errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…players into the DFS game.
