It’s been about six years since I last complained about bad luck in DFS on the RG boards… I need to make a one time comeback to vent about tonight!

Had same locked in lineup from 5 PM till 645… then I switched Love and Turner out for Porzingis and Jameer Nelson at 6:50 PM. Cost me $29,000.

I’ve had some swaps that have probably cost me more but there is one specific one that I will never forget. Back in 2015 I was nearly brand new to DFS. So, I put in an NFL lineup on FanDuel back when the NFL Bomb was $250,000 with $25,000 to 1st, $10,000 to 2nd, etc. (Back then those prizes sounded awesome to us, now that’s just a random Tuesday). Anyways, I’m an Eagles fan and I had my lineup completely set. Then I realized, “I don’t have any Eagles on my team.” Looking things over, I realized that Dan Bailey was my kicker and he plays for the hated Cowboys. So, I’m like, “Why don’t I just swap out Dan Bailey for Cody Parkey

As it turned out that day, Dan Bailey ended up kicking like six field goals and three extra points for around 21 FanDuel points. How much did Parkey score? I’m glad you asked! One Freaking Point! One! Uno! Un! Ceann!

The difference between Pakey and Bailey was enough to drop me from 2nd ($10,000) to like 13th ($750). I’ve never been more mad about “winning” $750. Also, I’ve never hated kickers more than I did that day,

this might be the most rough losing because of a kicker swap

i cant deal anymore if i feel i might wanna swap i just enter two lineups unless its single entry then your f’d

Not a switch that cost me money, but one time I finished a giant $5 double up on DK with a score that would have taken down every tournament on the site (NBA). I won 10 bucks.

I have not played a single cash game since.

Week 4 NFL 2015. Had 8 lineups going on FD 25 dollar entry. Across the board I had Devonta Freeman and Joseph Randle who were both around 6k and I had high dollar wideouts. I switched each lineup to make it more diverse. Their lines:
    Freeman: 141 rushing, 3 TDs, 5 Rec, 52 RYd
    Randle: 87 rushing, 3 TDs, 2 Rec, 18 RYd

Both were under 3 percent owned and I’m pretty sure my mortgage would’ve been paid off if I left 8 lineups with that stack in.

Back in 2015 I swapped rb ivory, rb Blount, and wr moncrief in for rb foster, rb woodhead, and wr crowder about 5 minutes before lock then started making my daughter’s some pancakes. As the day unfolds I’m watching this lineup go off. It wasn’t until the afternoon I realized I got my swap in all but one tourney I forgot to switch. Of course that was the $25 entry 1st place gets a million would’ve won by 3pts. Lost 996,000 on that but the silver lining was winning 175,000 on the day and a wffc seat. Oh and to add insult to injury Arian Foster got hurt that day. He’s my 3rd cousin so go figure.
