In theory I have 9 lineups of him – not sure how many of those actually made it into any contests

KSDT update: Nice tee shot on the par 5 5th, the easiest hole on the course. Unfortunately followed that up with a 2nd shot that was 12 yards short of the green and proceeded to par it. Off to the store for me, I need groceries. And a case of Yuengling.

Kisner laying up on the Par 5 is making me irrationally angry

  • JIB7

The wait on these par 5’s is eternal.

  • BIF

I’m feeling bad for the 1.3% of people who paid 7K for Cink and +7 thru 8 round

  • smallANDflaccid

Sloan was one I (my code) thought would be good here. Hoge, no clue.

He didn’t layup – he had 252 in and hit it 250 to the rough left of the green

Per shot tracker he overshot the green long left, hit a crappy third to the fringe (37’), chipped to 6’, and made par.

Reed/Casey/Lowry group looking good. Sergio/Sneds/Poston group looking awful.

Group mojo in effect both ways.

  • lfn1992

At least Kiz got par, but definitely irrationally angry that he hashed it and didn’t get a chance at birdie.

Been struggling on cash lineups so I decided to go with 20 different cash lineups (entering ~1/20th the amount per lineup vs. if I did just one).

I remember you talking about how you saw in the NBA/MLB everyone went with the #1 optimal and you sometimes chose the #2 as a differentiator so it’s somewhat related to what you said in one of the posts on the other threads.

Golf is a bit different since no one uses an optimizer so there’s no train, but your post led me to think of a somewhat similar idea that if I believe my cash lineups are +EV but have huge variance, it’s better to actually scatter them out into like 20 different ones rather than have 1.

The thing that’s been screwing me over is literally one golfer (like Hatton last week), so I figure if I can cash like 13/20 of my cash lineups, I’ll take that than a 65% chance of cashing 1.

It has been a struggle for me the last few weeks as well. Last Week I had 14/17 of my players make the cut but Glover, Hatton, and Garcia were spaced perfectly to make all 8 of my lineups go 5/6 which didn’t win a dime when the chalk hit and I only had 3/8 Morikawa. This week I locked in Webb and went up to a 20 player pool for 10 lineups.

At least this week it looks like I am going to survive Thursday with a few live lineups. Got 1 with all 6 golfers -3 or better so maybe I will finally get a couple 6/6’s.

Glad I made some room for JT Poston!

Just lost a $10 bet to my apt mate. I said Monday morning I need to take a break on self medicated relaxing. She laughed at me and said I bet you $10 you cant last 1 week probably not 1 day.

LOL 3 days but DFS Golf got me. (hint she never gambles and I guess she didnt this time either)

Crazy that last year’s winner at -22 may not break par before exiting the grounds on Friday afternoon. Golf is weird like this.

Wow Sneds. Can you please just shoot even so you don’t blow every parlay today. Thought that was a lock pick…

  • mogan11

my 4 pm guys that started on the front all missed the fairway on the par 5. Easiest hole on the course and its tearing my LU apart.

  • timusbr

Every time I see HV3 in an interview, I cant help but like the guy.

And BIF, your right he presses or something after Friday and hurts himself. But he seems to have an edge on certain courses and I always see in my mind his play in Austraila and Fiji where he can finish an event. Maybe not great SOF but beat damn good golfers.

Bo Hoag had to have hit a tree with he tee shot on that par 5, cause i hit a 5 iron farther than that

Got Furyk and chalk is looking pretty good. Been a tough couple of weeks if you only get 5/6 though

Sadly I did in 1/3 LU even after the Bolton fade

Tried to prove him wrong and shot myself in the foot there
