My problem is for example how Cam Champ won a few weeks ago..! Guy misses a 100 cuts and than wins… this has been the norm all year, it is just impossible to project… look for me it’s like this, I’m not playing guys I hate or think suck, so yeah there r a lot of those guys… but the pool of reliable players has shrunk to a minuscule level in the last 1 or 2 years (or more it seems) & I just can’t seem to hit on any players… I dunno, it also seems like we have more and more guys making the cutline from the 6k range… why is that? If they were so good they wouldn’t have been priced at the bottom but it seems every single week they out number all the “quality players” who r properly priced… variance or no variance this type of extreme & strange happenstance is happening way more here than other sports..

I’m NBA & NFL that only happens when there is late injury news & a guy is upgraded to a starter but in golf it’s just constantly happening… I think ppl here should b able
To understand where I’m coming from seeing as u guys follow this every week as well..? I just scroll through leaderboards & wonder how some of these guys made the cut… & than they will disappear for months & another one will pop up to replace him… it’s just really gotten me this entire season where I just can’t get the right guys at the right time ever…

It’s almost as if DFS is hard.

So Matt Jones is in both my 6/6s. Super low owned. Would love to see him make a little move here!

I can’t figure why I do better with 4/6’s than the no-cuts this year

I wanna go back to T70 and MDF days

I mean cmon I wasn’t harassing anybody or bringing heat… I said a rant of frustration & than left it alone… no reason for this POS to troll me..! He is obviously the kind of person that does that frequently… why would u even do that… comparing golf to NFL was the thing that really pissed me off tho..! Tha yes dumb … & why would u claim I use an optimizer..? Wouldn’t I be doing better if I did that… just stupid garbage takes from a guy I guess is having a good week & thought he would flex… screw that..!

I will give you a measured response if you haven’t been banned already.

I agree that DFS golf has been frustrating for two seasons now. The more stringent cut lines and generally unpredictable outcomes are more glaring now. In the case of this week you have a weak field on an easy track so naturally guys you never see on the first page are going to attack the course and score. Bigger names that are firmly in the playoffs don’t have a lot to play and are just there to make an appearance for their sponsors so it’s not surprising to see them take a tournament off. I was never on Deki, for example, because of the travel from Japan and two tournaments in a row where it went to a playoff. Fatigue had to be a factor. Deki is the best player in this field. A smart DFS player would refrain from a lot of these birdiefests due to the volatility. I’m not always smart though and I love the sweat.

Bottom line is that DFS golf was a lot easier in years past. Now it’s not.

Anyone running deep in anything? I’m in 5th (chopping with another guy) in the .50 mini max on DK. Only have 2 lineups with 6/6 out of 150… 😬

I’m there too – hopefully one of us takes it down!

All I have to say is GO BRICE!

  • benstnick

Someone tell Seamus that this is a birdie fest and he needs to make some

  • lfn1992

That Brice DBB took him from T12 to T41st. Huge swings today. Hoping for a bounceback here on the Par 5.

And he hits it in the water on the easiest hole on the course.

Ya he’s a clown. See guys having 6/6 is overrated when your 6th is going to shoot 3 or 4 over par

  • BirdiesandBengals

Speaking of being tilted by DFS golf, I have actually been slightly tilted by winning too much in MLB by only picking Reds players (my favorite team) and random other players I have never heard of. I have won more in the last month in MLB with that strategy than in golf which I actually research and spend time on. Same thing with NBA, got a lucky win with guys I had never hear of, only entered because of the bonus offer they emailed. Has made me rethink how lucky you need to be to win anything.

Basically DFS is hard and more luck based than we would like to acknowledge.

  • BBWC_10

Would really like this to end now, My 4/6 has gotten me to even this week thanks to Scott and Wise. I don’t think my LU can get much better.

  • lfn1992

Brice can’t get out of his own way on exactly 2 holes and he goes to T47 after bogeying the last hole. He was as high as 12th!

  • lfn1992

Fleetgoat needs to get to I think -11 to be in the mix for a T10, so a -5 at least.

I have always acknowledged the luck factor. The volatility. picking 6 different entries on the same card. Its a lotto play. We then try to cut the burden of the odds down by our knowledge, edumacated guessing. and finally for me, a spread of LU’s with a core of the same golfers. We talk about many things here. We all pretty much agree its a difficult game. Nothing said in the last few weeks is a new topic of conversation.

    Accept it all
    take a chance
    enjoy the contest

but, thats hard if you dont get some winnings. winnings make the whole process that much more fun.
I do believe, in golf dfs, if you try, if you watch, follow along…..even a blind squirrel will find his winter nut.

yesterday when he was T8 he was short of the points needed. he needs 7th or 6th maybe even T5.

so dont go rooting for T10 the whole weekend, when he needs just a little bit more.

of course your dfs LU would like more, perhaps your sportsbook is T10. whatever it is, good luck. for me right now its does he play here next year or does he play Euro tour (or maybe a professional league, which makes this moot, He has always been my first guess of defecting to the money league)

  • tristanwolf

good luck guys up there! no golf sweat for me this week but i pulled 2nd in the $25 se baseball last night.

wait lingmerth is in the top 20? was this one of the two annual events he’s playable?

  • AdamBski

  • timusbr

LMAO, my 6/6 in the euro, seemed like money in the bank. My 6 combined for a +3 on Sat. Anyone with Hojgaaard (-10 Sat.), kicked my ass. and in Wyndham, my 3/6 with Henley/Im/Munoz is still hanging on and making money.

  • benstnick

Well that’s probably all she wrote for my 6/6. Everyone seemingly playing like trash
