Hearing a rumour that Reed WD because Stricker already told him he is on Ryder Cup team so no need to wear himself out before the Playoffs and pending Ryder Cup.

Saw on the Golf Channel Kevin Na doesn’t have his normal caddie this week.. Looks like I will change my gut build because I have seen high caliber players like Bryson and DJ miss the cut at birdie fests the past few events when they had last minute caddie changes.. personally I won’t take that gamble on Na.

For what it’s worth, his replacement caddie is Jonathan DiIanni, played college golf in NC 20 minutes from this course. He caddied for Webb at the PGA last year when Paul Terosi was injured, they made the cut and got top 40.

Not saying Na can’t play well.. I was just on him when he got T2 at the John Deere, but I don’t want to have fears about my players and this brings me a little of it.

That sounds like a reason to me to have more Kevin Na, not less. JMHO

I think it’s going to be a very weird winner, and if you have that sub-7k guy that wins this you win with every LU that has him.

Last 3 months he’s #1 on tour in SG: tee to green. But he hasn’t played since winning the Barbasol almost a month ago, and I wonder if rust settles in. As Neil Young once said, rust never sleeps.

yea, doubt he has swung a club or played a round since then

FYI on NFTs. I just got one of the Carbon Tom Bradys for $12. Lowest price you can buy one for on the open marketplace is $109.

LOL, My degree is in Economics. I am not saying i am an expert or even informed. I just cant rationalize, the end value on what easily could be a fad. My beer can collection was kinda impressive, I dont even remember where it went. Beanie babies were all the rage, when I was going back and forth in China. I made some happy campers of relatives and friends then. Now as I understand this is digital. not like it could be paraguay’n or Chinese knockoffs. but hmmmm digital. Sounds like a bad bad idea.

Wouldn’t doubt that was the case.

IMO he should be left off in favor of some of the younger guys that are hot right now and don’t carry so much baggage. Does anyone remember that he lost two matches while being paired with The Cat in 2018?

  • lfn1992

How important is the Northern Trust for Rose, Kooch, Adam Scott? I keep going back and forth on these guys.

    +1

also, IMHO the US side is not a team and the Euro side is. Keeping Reed, doesnt change any of that and I am leaning to the underdogs for another Ryder Cup Victory.

NFTs have a future. and NFTs with a base of Tom Brady company, Autograph, combined with Draftkings existing infrastructure- are worthy of a second look.. then i chose a bunch of chalky golfers…

Up to $200 now. If you spent $12 like an hour ago you could flip it right now.

    Just saying. Nice bankroll padder.

also- these are not beer cans or beanie babies lol- an econ degree is nice, but does not necessarily apply to this sort of marketplace

Tim, I also have a beer can collection mostly of foreign and obscure brands in unopened cans. The beer is worth nothing because it’s spoiled but the artwork and nostalgia is worth a little bit. My favorite are the Tennent’s girls circa 1970’s. Unfortunately old doesn’t mean valuable.

I guess time to drop a few guesses before tomorrow’s early tee time.

Must play : The South Koreans Im and KIm. This Donald Ross layout seems to really click with a lot of the Asian golfers who play here. Depalma has his Team “OO”, I might have my team Asia.

Fade : Webb Simpson who has been pretty awful with his irons (by his standard) for a little while now. Maybe the comfort of this course changes that, but maybe it doesn’t.

Blue Light Special : I’ll play Brendan Todd $7100 but I wouldn't discount Michael Thompson $6900.

Have fun and make some money y’all.

Hey, I am not knocking anyones belief in this NFT’s. Your words, which I believe are true…..Profit.
jump on the bandwagon, play it fast and loose, and dump it before it goes down or you have made “your” somethin somethin.

I dont think any of you think this is a long hall security. That is my primary doubt, in the long run my expected value is not anywhere near todays or tomorrows price, and I would go so far to say the $12 Kbarnhill paid today, what he can sell for $200 today, will eventually be worth closer to $0. I dont know when that will be, I just think it will be. coincidentally, being an old stubborn guy, I think the same about crypto. I know others disagree.

“Find a bigger sucker” no offense meant but that’s what these schemes are

Not that it’s a bad way to make money or anything – it’s like an IPO. If you have that IPO-level access it can be a good thing

Yeah I can’t say I disagree with this position. But just because I don’t understand it or think it’s a good store of value doesn’t mean I can’t make money on it today. Same with crypto, totally over my head but I don’t need to agree with it to make money on it.
