anyone here ever play on Yahoo DFS and if so how do you think it is ? Do not see review on RG anymore for YAhoo

  • Jvanspro

I would love to play on Yahoo but they don’t let FL residents play.

Was going to try Yahoo today, so I went to deposit and wanted to use funds from my PayPal balance (not a PayPal credit account, but actual money of my own that was sitting in PayPal), and the option isn’t even available. Is this normal? I’ve never seen that before.

Yahoo generally has lower entry limits (10 max even for large contests) and is slow to update prices. They also have late swap for everything and minimal action beyond the main slate. They’re a solid option, arguably even the best, if you want to play a smaller amount of money on a given night, or if you just like being on multiple sites.

Regulars fill up a large fraction of the smaller contests, so you might want to only play the big contests on Yahoo depending on your interest and skill level.

Fantasy Draft is also having issues depositing from a PayPal account from a mobile device. However, works fine from computer. Checking the site out, so far I really like it.

I joined last night because I want to play rookie games and try and make some money lol. I had no trouble depositing on PayPal and played a rookie 5 dollar entry winner gets 50. I came in 10th out of 33 and won 10 bucks. Yeh there aren’t big payouts but playing rookie for now might be profitable especially when I play baseball in 3 days.

I would definitely take advantage of the ROOKIE GAMES for as long as you are eligible on YAHOO.

I made my first deposit last year during NBA season for their Christmas tournaments. Although I didn’t play any MLB last year, I just stuck with FD/DK and a couple other small sites, I’m 100% going to throw down daily on MLB this year.

I’ve never really had any issues whatsoever with Yahoo on any front. The key tho for MLB having to use 2 pitchers is obviously finding those cheap $7 and above plays to fill out your roster who produce.

The worst part about Yahoo is the GPPs aren’t anywhere near the size of DK/FD, obviously, but I’m sure if they can attract more traffic that will change.

Just wanted to say that Yahoo has been making payout requests by paypal within 2-3 hours of the request.

I played Yahoo Daily NBA last year after football was done, and I’ve been doing the same thing this year. If you’re just learning, it’s a great place to learn without so many sharks. They do allow late swaps, which is great. The other comments are accurate – the prize pools aren’t as large as FD/DK, but that’s kind of the point. Once I get proficient on there, I intend to move up to one of the bigger sites.

I play NBA on Yahoo every night, and I enjoy it very much. Like others have said, the prize pools are much smaller than FD/DK, but that’s offset by less sharks and softer pricing. The scoring is very similar to DK except there are no bonuses for double-doubles and triple-doubles and turnovers subtract a full point instead of half point. You can also still late swap there if you need to. I started playing DFS on DK in 2014, but actually play more now on Yahoo and have had more success there over the past year and some change.
