I am very surprised with all the resources at their disposal
that Yahoo dfs is so extremely average.
Their interface is extremely average. No innovation.
They are being schooled by DK/FD which were startups
by a handfull of individuals. There is just nothing
special about yahoo dfs that would cause me to spend money
over there. You would think this would be in their wheelhouse
and they would be putting out a much better product.

How so? Their rake is the lowest besides Fantasydraft and they don’t cater to max entry dudes.

Those are good things I am referring to the actual website interface
which which is very basic and seems like something a college freshman
could put together. I remember when they announced they
were throwing their hat in the DFS arena and the big questions
were how they would differentiate themselfs fro the big two
and how creative their interface would be being they are a web
service provider. There is a reason they are a distant 3rd and maybe
4th I’m not sure about fantasydraft.

Yahoo’s fantasy product is an extremely small % of their overall company and they don’t really care about it that much. Yahoo was bought out by Verizon so I am guess DFS is not their cash cow where they want to dedicate a bunch of resources to trying to get it to grow.

To each his own, but for tight ass grinders like myself Yahoo has been the most profitable site the last year or so, you may not win a million dollars, but I’ll take winning each and every week over that small shot of glory. I guess I judge sites by how successful I am on them not how slick their interface is.

Yahoo DFS is a horrible product. They haven’t innovated in years, their games are small, and no innovation. The company itself is miserable and crumbling.

Lowest rake for low stakes GPPs out there, along with 10 entry max limits. I’ve definitely had more success on their site versus FD/DK.
