    Good article and thanks for sharing. I’m also very interested in how the NJ case will shake out, and initial reports from the hearing seem to show it went well for those that want legalized sports betting anywhere outside of NV. Personally, I’ve cut back so heavily in DFS over the 1.5 years due to the overall decline of the industry, the sites glossing over their myriad of problems, and frankly because it just isn’t fun anymore to play in .25 tournaments with pros risking hundreds of thousands a day as an example.

    IMO, I think that if sports betting became legal, it would hurt DFS more than it would help. For me, I’d find much more satisfaction into betting on a game where everyone is on the same playing field than throwing $1 lineups into DFS, only to be swooped up by a shark automatically. I think the casual fan or friends in a bar will find it much easier to say “I’m going to bet the Falcons -1” versus having to worry about optimized lineups, potential collusion, the sites blatantly showing they could care less about the “casual fan”, etc…
