I’m getting sick of Webb checking all the boxes at a course and then being mediocre. I guess it’s pretty early, though. He could be in the lead by Saturday.

He didn’t play well at all today… hopefully a turnaround tomorrow thru Sunday

Good Friday Morning & YAY GOLF

So deceiving to see you have six golfers under par and not be cashing, now that’s a birdie fest! So many of golfers in my player pool under par, but not cashing very much, must be patient!

What a finish by JT! 4 under last three holes, been waiting for that for a few weeks now. Will he continue? IDK but playing him in SD today for sure.

Biggest disappointments yesterday were P Reed (-2) & Morikowa (-1)
Encouraged by some of my low priced performers, C Smith (-5), L Griffin (-6), and of course SeaBass (-8)
Honorable Mention to Adam Hadwin (+3) T73, for mucking up my best lineup so far.

SD today going to use a core of JT, Hatton, Smith

Good Luck today Y’all, we will need it.

And that was after he finished with 2 birds. Maybe you need to throw him in SD, too?

About the only golfer I got wrong in R1 was Ben An, who couldn’t make a putt to save his life (which I know is normal for him, but he had lots of short ones yesterday!)

Nobody above -5 at the moment in my lineups so not cashing anything as a result, but lots of golf still to play.

    Euro: Horsey, Canter, and Saddler.

(It’s actually Adrien Saddier, but you see where I’m headed with this.)

P.S. Still some spots open in LFN’s contest:

    https://www.draftkings.com/draft/contest/94755302

Looks like the Euro cut will be -4. Which means even if Rikard gets his head out of his behind and pulls off a miracle in his last 5 holes, Saddier will miss on the number. He just didn’t have it today.

P.S. Damn you Jack Senior! Why didn’t you play like this last week?

Was hoping for a -3 cut line to sneak Ben Evans through but -4 is now at T68, very unlikely to get to -3

If Ben Evans were to make it I’d have had 3 6/6 and 2 5/6 (one with Thunderbear miss, one with Mannassero miss). But Evans will almost certainly MC, but I’d still have 2 6/6, 2 5/6 and 1 4/6. Importantly my Happy Meal would be a 6/6:

    Kaymer -9
    Pavon -9
    Armitage -7
    Senior -6
    Laporta -6
Paratore -4 (real hero round from him to make the cut, whew!)

For good measure I said to fade Victor Perez and he will miss the cut

Looking like a good weekend upcoming!

Been playing Frittelli for weeks as he looks like hot garbage and NOW he’s at -6?

  • BrianVT

Can’t decide if I should go play golf this afternoon, or stay home and watch golf. These West Coast swings really screw with my Friday twilight golf planning.

    Make it -7

    Saw Rex Hoggard post this

SG: tee to green – 74th

    All out of 77.

Always choose to play golf on Thur-Sat unless it’s US Open or Masters Week. You can PVR everything else if needed.

Sunday’s, I stay home as it’s the final round and for 5 months there is also NFL.

Have a really nice LU right now, Munoz, JT, English, Lanto…. Need Spieth and Mats to pick it up this afternoon.

  • lfn1992

Bubba streak out of the gate

  • BrianVT

    English eagle

  • ifthethunder

The only player I have in my best lineup on the course now is Ancer, so that’s whom I am following. Not a lot showing yet, but nothing terrible either.

OTOH Bubba has an eagle and English has the birdie streak. And I have have both in my 2nd best lineup.

Edit: The other way, re: Bubba and English.

Yes but he still has this to his credit.

    MG:Golf Majors – 2nd
    RG: Richest Golfer – 1st

He can’t complain too much….his downside though is.

Birdie fest this morning, worse than yesterday.

  • cplatt87

Yeah this course seems to be playing about as easy as my local Muni for these guys so far today.

Ha ha all true – just thought it was funny that Tiger did nothing anywhere close to positive yesterday; he has had bad putting or driving days before but usually his approach game is at least neutral even on off days

  • BrianVT

The flags seem to be in spots where the putts are easier to read. Not really that they’re accessible, just that mid-long putts aren’t too awful. I guess we’ll see what happens when they hit the later parts of each 9, though.

  • timusbr

    Geez everyone is scoring….
You first start out looking at the status of YOUR golfers and think…Great I am getting some pts and some of these guys needed to move up. Then You look at a snapshot of everyone and they are all scoring well (LOL except Mac Hughes).

Phil has had to re-load off the tee 2/4 holes so far.
