Jeez my SE LU has gone 32 under and I have moved just a little I guess that can be expected in a limited no cut event.

Spieth birdie birdie to get a streak and no bogeys? Tony birdie 18 for the win?

Anyone on here been to the Reynolds-Lake Oconee Resort in Georgia where the LPGA is playing ? It sure looks a great place to retire or at least go on a golf trip – lots of great courses to play.

I drove through there back in 2006 to have a peak on my drive from ATL to Augusta but didn’t really see much of it. Then a couple years ago they had a Golf Advisor episode from there with Matt Ginella that Bruce Arians was on as he has a place there.

I think I need to make a trip down there….

Keep driving—-get off at Thompson exit—-head to Lincolnton (home of the REDDEVILS)——keep driving to McCormick South Carolina—-a community called Savannah Lakes Village—-a Cooper Community——planned community——-close to Augusta.

Hey, is Kingwood Resort any good? Saw a Trazelzoo deal that I might try with wife. Appears to be just west of Greenville, SC, in GA. I live in Charleston.

    Didn’t see it

So BIF, Hatton hits his tee shot on the par 3 17th hole into the rough between the bunker and the green and gets a free drop which of course turns into lift and place because it keeps rolling down the slope ? I saw this same thing last week and in fact saw it in person at the RBC last November . I figure if anybody knows the rules it would be you. Thanks Mike

I have never been to Kingwood

What a change a day makes. I hope my guys can get back on course tomorrow.

  • Jeezylives

Lol what a day. Profitable. But damn dfs is a game of inches.

Played Harry Higgs in SD. Cheap, and a -6! Still got nothin’.

P.S. I HAD Richy Werenski and his -11 in the same damned lineup! ARRRRGHHHH. X was again the culprit.

Yah I was there when it was still the Reynolds Plantation….and yup golfing, fishing and boating – pretty much how I see retirement.

Only things he could get a Free drop for are embedded ball, ground under repair (abnormal ground conditions), sprinkler head or some kind of (French) drain with rocks that I can think of.

I had 330 and didn’t cash in SD today….going to scale back for the weekend and just throw some darts in the smaller buy ins. Ready for the cut events to start next week.

Hmmm, that looks pretty nice and home prices are decent. That Monticello course looks like it would be fun from the tips !

What’s your connection to the place ? I had never heard of that community which doesn’t surprise me but those courses look great and if they are as good as they look, I’m shocked I’ve never heard of them.

Looking at my cheatsheet, 32 FPts (without bonus) didnt make it to the top 10 of Pts scored and the median score was 25. Today had to set all time records for scoring by the field. Easiest day of golf in PGA history. (guessing)

I think they are calling them embedded balls ? But, they are just in thick grass and it’s not the fairway? I am calling the USGA!? or for you guys in the Great White North, what governing body?

Sitting 20th in the Happy Meal, hoping my guys didn’t peak already. Hunting for a cash!

Was looking at next weeks field, I see BiFs guy John Oda is in the field! The one time I took Oda he made the cut and scored better than those priced around him. Looking forward to taking him next week!

I’ve got JT and Lanto in my single bullet, but the two dragging me down are Henley -4 and Phil +2. Phil is actually outscoring Henley 37 to 35.5.

It’s so hard to get into golf this time of year. It’s all about football and Nascar playoffs this time of year.

Stats are not updating for EURO and I’d like to see how much money I won in Round 3

If the ball plugs and it can be determined that the crust of the ground/soil is broken and ball is embedded or sitting it’s plug (however small it is) then it is deemed to be embedded. This is true regardless if it’s fairway or rough.

I think what caused this last week was the steep slopes around the greens, steep surrounding areas near bunker walls and also with some of the green being perched or elevated. Many shots hit in that came up short were buried in the slopes and a few guys lost balls as the plugged in the deep rough and I guess a couple got embedded?

Lived there and worked there as real estate agent from 94—-2000. Look up Cooper Communities——resorts are first class—-golf is great—-one in Tennessee—Tellico Village———Hot Springs Village/Bella Vista in Arkansas…..

  • me_mike84

so is the course gonna play harder today or are we going to see another ton of low scores?
