    Brendan Steele?

He is on the short list…along with lord Jordan Spieth as well. Rahm, Day, Phil, etc…

could this mean big hitters? Sounds like a plan.

Past champions here: Zach Johnson, Graeme McDowell, Jim Furyk, Luke Donald, Davis Love III, Vijay Singh, Padraig Harrington, and Tiger.

DJ likely plays it well because of his wedge game and because he plays it enough to be able to post a record score at some point in time. Just my two cents.

I don’t think anyone will play Phil. May have to take a look.

Still at the top of the Happy Meal, I feel like Xander with these close finishes. One of the days I’m gonna win that thing. Maybe this week me and Xander can both break through.

They just jacked the numbers way higher for FP, but not birdies…

Edit: I did a few 5/5 FP earlier with Scottie as the under. He’s the only one they’re not increasing by 6-8 points.

Birdies are up to 19.5 now. I got in a few of the 16.5 birdie overs and still want to take overs on 19.5, but I’m scaling WAY back on my weekly MKF betting until they revert their ridiculously stupid rule of selecting mixed overs/unders and basically setting bets that are impossible for their users to win…

The first round bets still have a 3/3 I feel pretty comfortable going over 24.5 points on w/ Rahm/Hatton/Scheffler (riskiest). Going to hit that until it goes up today.

I tend to like Phil in no-cut events because he always seems to turn on the jets when there’s nothing to play for on Sunday

Finished seven LU’s in DtG for this week with thirty golfers spread out all over the place in a wide-open unknown event that will be fun to watch this week

Finished third in the $20 Tiers Scramble two weeks in a row for $120 each so hoping to keep the no deposit weeks going :)

    Winner: Bubba

    Fade: Phil and Tigger

    Sleeper: Higgs

EURO single bullet hoping to avoid the WD this week

    Winner: Kaymer

    Fade: none really

    Sleeper: Maccario

Scott, Ancer or Billy Ho. I currently have Scott just a bit over Ancer, then Horschel.

  • ifthethunder

    Euro: Horsey, Canter, and Saddler.

(It’s actually Adrien Saddier, but you see where I’m headed with this.)

P.S. Still some spots open in LFN’s contest:

I know ownership is typically higher per player and a bit more spread out in no cut events, but I have no clue who is gonna be chalk this week. I built my lineup and I think it’s pretty unique but I think my expensive guys are gonna be high owned and differentiated by my value plays

I’d go with Ancer, then Billy. Adam is outside the circle of trust for now.

A question I have: Is Jason Coatrack actually a good putter now,, after all these years?

    Adam Scott WD. COVID.

  • cplatt87

Adam Scott WD with Covid. Jim Herman in as alternate.

  • BrianVT

Haha, that takes care of the Adam Scott question. There’s going to be so many chalk plays.

I’m glad he withdrew today, though (vs. Monday). Maybe some people won’t change their lineups.

    EURO Italian Open

Winner: Thinking we may get a crazy winner, so I’ll pick Matthieu Pavon beating Marcus Armitage in a playoff
    Fade: Victor Perez
Sleeper: Love, love Francesco Laporta this week. I came very close to picking him to win it

Overall, I won’t say “fade the top heavy guys” because many I think will do solidly, but I think the difference between cashing and taking something down will be taking someone mid-range like Pavon or Armitage who wins

A question I have: Is Jason Coatrack actually a good putter now,, after all these years?

So Gravy and the Sleaze podcast on Sirius golf interviewed him on Monday and a few things came out.

He had played the course between 25-30 times prior to the tournament so he felt comfortable last week.

Earlier this season 2 things occurred regarding his putting…..

His caddie told him to stand more upright over his putts and go to a 36” putter.

Also, Kevin Na and he share the same swing coach and Na told him to go to a stiffer shaft on his putter to reduce the lag and it has been working well for him for the last few months.

He turned down every invite to Augusta in the past as he didn’t want to go until he qualified and of course now that he has, the pandemic messed up his plan.

  • kps3205s

I just donated my $1. Only 2 spots left for Euro now.

I’m with you on Spieth this week… but only in round 1 and 4 of SD. 😂

  • ifthethunder

I was just going with 3 lineups this week, but accidentally clicked on late showdown and saw…PHATRICK.

If I don’t put him in one, he’ll win just to troll me.

actually quite happy to see the withdrawal, though I feel for Mr. Scott. I think it’s Ancer over Billy Ho though I personally think it’s closer than the salary spread indicates.

  • ifthethunder

    Hideki Matsuyama or Viktor Hovland?
