Julio Teheran – I mentioned yesterday that Alex Wood was a nice contrarian play. He pitched a gem, but was outdone by Zack Greinke 13 strikeouts. I think we could see a similar result tonight with Teheran and Kershaw. Teheran makes a nice contrarian play as most people will avoid him with Kershaw pitching opposite him. Teheran has a 2.71 ERA while averaging 8.0 K’s per 9 innings. I don’t expect him to have as many K’s as Kershaw, but I think he has another great outing. Rating = 7.5

Clayton Kershaw – Like every night when he is on the mound, Kershaw is the top fantasy pitcher on the board. He has a hefty price tag though and it’s going to take some work to get him into your lineup. Kershaw has a great matchup against a Braves team that is not afraid to strike out, just ask Zack Greinke. There are some cheaper aces in Gonzalez and Cueto, but Kershaw is the top play if you can make it happen. Rating = 10

With these two stud pitchers on the mound, I am going to avoid both offenses in this game.
