CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: Tuesday, February 1st

We are back here for another solid Tuesday of games, although the contests remain a bit small which is a disappointment. Hopefully the upcoming all-star break jump-starts DK into sizing these contests appropriately. Anyway, we have a slate again where most of the top values are minimum priced role players and there are few great options at the top which should again make high ownerships. Let’s get into it.

Creighton (62)

The Creighton offense has tumbled as of late, but the consistently underpriced DFS plays in Arthur Kaluma ($4,900) and Ryan Nembhard ($5,900) have continued to produce. Kaluma’s price has risen a bit and I really struggle to see where his upside comes from as his minutes are consistently under 30. Nembhard has similar rates, but you know he’s going to play as many minutes as he can despite being a poor offensive player – he’s the preferred option for me here. Ryan Kalkbrenner ($8,400) of course has absurd upside always, but he’s generally going to disappoint at this price point and against UConn who has one of the best interior defenses with Sanogo, I’m definitely not using him. Alex O’Connell and Ryan Hawkins are just straight up too expensive. I am off most of Creighton here.
