CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: Tuesday, February 8th

As we inch closer to the NBA All-Star break, I am hoping that we get some sort of bump in the contest sizes, but it does not look like that is going to happen. They have bumped the sizes of the qualifiers though, which is going to make it harder to qualify and you will probably need to use a bit more of a GPP style build to win them. Anyway, let’s get into this Tuesday with 12 games.

North Carolina (75)

We are still waiting on the return of Dawson Garcia here whose absence has really hurt the Tar Heels. This has left the starting 5 to play almost every single possible minute, and even against a Clemson team usually known for their defense, we have some solid plays here. Armando Bacot ($8,500) has averaged over 40 FP for the last couple of months and has a monopoly on the rebounds here – he had one bad performance against Duke, and his salary is down almost 1k – while Clemson’s interior defense is solid, I still think Bacot is one of the better spend-ups on the board at this price as his floor is high and his upside is realistically over 60. If you cannot find the money for Bacot, Brady Manek ($6,700) is the secondary rebounder and has put together 5 of 6 over 30 FP. He is the second-best projection on the team, but barely below Bacot in point per dollar.
