College Football DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey – National Championship

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

headChopper: Both teams have no problems moving the ball by doing what they do best. Michigan finds success running the ball in between the 20s and finds various ways to score in the red zone. Washington hits some big plays and moves the ball well through the air. Ultimately, having watched these teams all season now, I think the defenses are overmatched by what the other offense does great.

STLCardinals84: I do not have a sure-fire answer to this question based on game flow, as I think this game is going to be very competitive throughout. I will have fairly even exposure to both teams overall, with a focus on the Michigan run game and Washington pass game given the relative strengths of the two teams.

kmurray03: I think this is going to be a close game that comes down to the wire, but Michigan’s ability to control the clock and sustain drives will be the deciding factor en route to their championship victory.

a25smith: I’m predicting Michigan to win this one and to cover the spread. That game script should lead to both teams primarily doing what they do best, with Michigan leaning on the run game and Washington leaning on Penix and their trio of WRs.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
