MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, April 29
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
squirrelpatrol: Mookie Betts
headChopper: Mookie Betts
ebeimfohr: Mookie Betts
eys819: Mookie Betts
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
squirrelpatrol: I’ll spend down at pitcher and go off the board with my stacks. I’ll be nervous with Joe Ryan facing the White Sox, but they put up 21 runs in their 3-game sweep of Tampa Bay, and I think I can get more points at pitcher by spending less money.
headChopper: Not as much max stacking as the field. Some of my lineups will have minimal stacking. Then, at pitcher, I’ll be overweight on Cristopher Sanchez, Ryan Pepiot, and Nick Lodolo.
ebeimfohr: I am often the opposite, but tonight, I really like leaning into some lower-owned pitching, especially on DK. I am super high on the talent and/or matchup for several guys, like Garrett Crochet, Ryan Pepiot, Cristopher Sanchez, and Bailey Falter, and they all fall outside the top 5 in projected ownership on DK. This can allow us to more easily make strong tournament lineups with the slightly more popular, but uber upside, bats.
eys819: There are two very obvious pitchers on this slate, Joe Ryan and Max Fried, but I will likely be underweight on both of them. I want plenty of exposure to the top two offenses (Dodgers and Phillies) and would prefer to differentiate with pitching. I will spread my pitching exposure among lower-owned options like, Nick Lodolo, Ryan Pepiot, Luis Severino, and Cristopher Sanchez.
