In Case You Missed It
- The DSBBC Teriffic Ten – We’re down to the finals of the DraftStreet Basketball Championship. SalCaps was last night’s medalist, taking the top honors with a score of 247.25. He looks to be the favorite heading to Friday’s action as he got both of his entries into the final night. ImpulsiveAccordion had another impressive night and man on a hot streak, Rudy22ForMVP is into the finals as well. Good luck to the final ten on Friday night.
- NFL Free Agency – The biggest DFS season is football season. NFL free agency started this week, and there are some moves that could potentially be affecting our DFS line-ups this fall… The Broncos upgraded on defense, picking up Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware. Last year it was pretty easy to pick opposing QBs versus Denver, because their team would be down, and the Broncos pass defense wasn’t spectacular. This year it might be a little tougher to pick on the Denver pass D… Former Bronco Eric Decker signed with the Jets. It will be interesting to see two things: A) Whether or not Decker is an elite receiver, or if it was the Manning-effect™, B) If he is an elite receiver, will he help Geno Smith look like a real QB… Darelle Revis went to the Pats in a one-year deal. Can Revis replace Talib and help make the defense better as well?… Darren Sproles is rumored to be heading to the Eagles. I don’t like this from a DFS perspective as I feel like Sproles is going to be relegated to third down back behind LeSean McCoy. He only played 33% of snaps last season in NO, and I don’t see that increasing in Philadelphia, causing him to lose any value he had in PPR leagues.
Today’s Events
