Brandon Jennings Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Brandon Jennings, Tomas Satoransky, and Kelly Oubre will join Wizards starting lineup tonight; Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat expected to play 15 mintues

John Wall, Bradley Beal, and Markieff Morris will rest ahead of the playoffs, letting these guys jump into the starting lineup. Jennings is certainly the most interesting target; when those three are off the court this season, he produces a team-high 1.02 FD ppm. However, Bojan Bogdanovic leads the team with a solid 33.9% usage rate and he returns 1.01 FD ppm. With Porter limited to 15 minutes tonight, he could see some extra minutes tonight.

John Wall, Bradley Beal, and Markieff Morris OUT for Wizards tonight

The Wizards are going to rest their three key starters tonight in preparation for the post season. Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat will also play limited minutes. Brandon Jennings and Bojan Bogdanovich are the two biggest beneficiaries and are top options on tonight's large NBA slate. Jason Smith and Kelly Oubre are also worth a look with Morris out and Gortat playing limited minutes.

John Wall a game-time decision for Wizards tonight

Wall is probably an easy fade tonight with this designation and the fact that Brooks stated he will be playing the starters limited minutes. Brandon Jennings will be a viable value option for those playing tonight's DFS slate.

John Wall (migraine) expected to play, but status still not confirmed

Scott Brooks is tentatively expecting John Wall to suit up on Friday against Brooklyn, but he wouldn't go far enough to say that Wall is a definite go. This still leaves the possibility that Wall sits, and that chance certainly isn't hurt by the fact that the Wizards face off with the league-worst Nets at home. If he goes, he'll be a viable GPP play against a Nets team that ranks towards the top of the league in pace and the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency. In the event that Wall does sit, both Bradley Beal and Markieff Morris will become much stronger DFS plays. Beal carries a strong 31.0% usage rate with Wall off the floor this year, while Morris leads the starters with a 7.8% usage bump. Bojan Bogdanovic actually leads the Wizards in usage without Wall on the floor, but it's in a smaller sample size. Brandon Jennings would also be a viable punt play industry wide.

John Wall misses shootaround due to a headache; to be evaluated later in the day

While it doesn't appear that Wall will sit out tonight, the fact that this is being reported should be some reason for concern, especially since the Wizards are facing the hapless Nets. We'll keep a close eye on his status and provide updates as they come in. If he gets scratched, Brandon Jennings would likely start and would be a top value option at point guard.

John Wall's status uncertain for Friday due to a sprained foot

Wall played 36 minutes against the Mavericks on Wednesday but is dealing with a sprained foot. Wall mentioned that he's 50/50 to play and his absence would immediately open the door for Brandon Jennings to start. This is a situation we'll continue to monitor as the usage is also spread throughout the team. There should be another update on Wall after shootaround tomorrow.

Brandon Jennings active and available to debut for the Wizards tonight

Jennings will officially be active for tonight's game against the Toronto Raptors and, according to Wizards head coach Scott Brooks, he will make his Wizards debut this evening. The amount of playing time Jennings will see still remains uncertain but, for now, it looks as if he will primarily compete for backup point guard minutes behind John Wall. However, Brooks hinted that the Wizards may roll out more three-guard lineups with Wall, Jennings, and Bradley Beal once Jennings becomes more acclimated with the team. In terms of Friday's slate, Jennings can be easily avoided in all formats.

Danuel House waived by Washington to create a roster spot for Brandon Jennings

Rookie Danuel House has been waived to sign Brandon Jennings after he was waived by the Knicks. House's release does not move the needle in terms of DFS but Jennings should replace Trey Burke in the rotation. With Trey Burke out tonight, the Wizards might lack some depth with Jennings still in the process. Washington has not made it clear if Jennings will be available for tonight's game. Even if he is, Jennings is a risky option as he finds his way on a new team.

Brandon Jennings waived by New York Knicks; team plans to sign Chasson Randle

The Knicks have let their veteran back up point guard go and look as if they will sign Chasson Randle to serve as Derrick Rose's back up. Jennings should be able to find a home somewhere while Randle will have limited value unless Rose sits out a game for rest or injury purposes.

Courtney Lee battling illness; questionable to play for New York tonight

Lee did take part in the shootaround this morning but is still feeling ill after missing practice yesterday and is considered questionable for New York's game tonight against Cleveland. Justin Holiday and Brandon Jennings would both receive a boost and be viable DFS value options if Lee were unable to go.
