Jets placing RB Isaiah Crowell on IR ending his season. Look for young Jets RB's like Elijah McGuire and Trenton Cannon (questionable also) to step up in his place.
RB Isaiah Crowell (toe) and WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) ruled out for Saturday
Eli McGuire would be in line for lead back duties in Week 15 but he is also questionable with an ankle injury. If McGuire joins Crowell on the sidelines, expect Trenton Cannon to soak up most or possibly all of the backfield snaps at essentially the minimum price across sites. Robby Anderson should easily lead the team in targets with Enunwa out and his matchup against a Texans secondary isn't imposing. However, expectations should still be tempered as the Jets are projected for less than 18 points on Saturday.
Jets RB's Not Practicing
According to beat writers near the team, Isiah Crowell and Elijah McGuire were not seen practicing today and Trent Cannon was off to the side working with trainers. This could be a good source of value in DFS this week. Stay tuned in to Rotogrinders alerts for more information closer to game time.

Crowell appears questionable at best for Saturday night's game against the Texans after being sidelined for most of Week 14's contest. RB Elijah McGuire will again take over lead duties if Crowell remains sidelined with Trenton Cannon mixing in. The Jets have an implied team total of less than 18 points however, so the offense is not set up well per usual.

With an implied team total of 17.5, the Jets offense remains a place to easily cross off your roster building process for the week. Complicating matters for Crowell is the fact that both Lijah McGuire and Trenton Cannon could potentially share work if Crowell struggles.

Elijah McGuire would have stepped onto the radar as a far more serious value play, although his intrigue was tied to Crowell's potential absence. After looking like he may share work with McGuire, Crowell handled the vast majority of the rushing work last week and figures to lead the backfield in a winnable matchup with the Jets. We'll confirm Crowell's status tomorrow. Crowell himself is a touchdown-dependent GPP punt.

Anderson was downgraded to limited later in the week and would be facing a top-tier Bills secondary at likely less than 100% making him an easy avoid even if veteran QB Josh McCown gets another start.

Isaiah Crowell (foot) is active Sunday for the Jets week 7 matchup with the Vikings. Expect for Crowell to at least see his normal workload, if not possibly a few more carries than usual as the Jets may lean heavier on the run due to the windy conditions at the stadium Sunday.

Crowell got in a limited practice on Friday while Pryor sat. Even if Crowell plays, the matchup isn't ripe this week against the Vikings with the Jets installed as 3.5-point underdogs. With WR Quincy Enunwa also ruled out, Pryor's absence opens the door for Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to be target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense. Both receivers are $4500 or less on DraftKings this week.
