MLB PrizePicks Predictions Today

Ronald Acuna – More Than 1.5 Total Bases

The Braves have one of the best matchups on the slate, facing a low-strikeout pitcher Gavin Stone, so we’re going right back to the well with Acuna. Stone has been pretty good at limiting hard contact to righties, but I don’t really care against this Atlanta lineup. Acuna projects for 2.48 total bases in the RotoGrinders projections, and the Braves are my favorite lineup to target on the slate.

Shohei Ohtani – More Than 8.5 Fantasy Points

Despite the fact that old man Charlie Morton still looks like a very solid MLB pitcher, the Dodgers still have one of the highest implied run totals on the slate. Ohtani has been masterful since his slow start to the season, as he boasts a ridiculous .443 ISO against RHP this season. Morton has struck out less than 20% of righties this season, and Ohtani projects for 10.8 fantasy points in the RotoGrinders projections.

Bobby Witt Jr. – More Than 9 Fantasy Points

Michael Lorenzen has an abysmal 9.8% strikeout rate against righties this season. Although that sample size is small, his strikeout rate against righties was still only 15.1% if you look back at last season. Witt has been on another level this season and has cemented himself as a star. He only projects for 9.2 fantasy points in the RotoGrinders projections, but with multiple paths to scoring, I’ll bank on Witt’s speed/power combo to get us there.
