NBA Player Props Today – Monday, April 29, 2024

Jaime Jaquez Over/Under 13.5 Points
Lu Dort Over/Under 9.5 Points
LeBron James Over/Under 26.5 Points

Jaime Jaquez Over/Under 13.5 Points

Through 3 games in this series, Jaquez is averaging 14 points on 14 field goal attempts. He’s played 36 minutes, 31 minutes, and 34 minutes, respectively.

In 21 games this season with both Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier out of the lineup, Jaquez has scored 14+ points 15 times. When playing at least 30 minutes in those contests, Jaquez is 15-for-19 to the over at this market number. He’s 11-for-12 to the over when he plays at least 34 minutes.

Jaquez should continue to see north of 30 minutes in this series as long as the games remain somewhat competitive. This is a very targetable number for him.

Lu Dort Over/Under 9.5 Points

Entering play on Monday, Dort has not made a single shot inside the 3-point arc in this series. In fact, he’s only attempted 5 of his 23 shots inside the arc.

Dort has one primary goal in this series, and that’s to apply his efforts relentlessly on the defensive end of the floor. Any offensive contributions he gives to the Thunder are simply bonus points.

Through 3 games, Dort is shooting an unsustainable 55.6% from 3-point territory, which is significantly higher than his 39.4% during the regular season. Dort was even worse on the road during the regular season, shooting only 37% from deep. The math favors negative regression sooner rather than later – perhaps as early as tonight.

LeBron James Over/Under 26.5 Points

After a disappointing Game 3 loss at home, few people would have blamed the Lakers if they went home quietly in Game 4. However, they did anything but that, leading from start to finish in a 119-108 victory.

LeBron, in particular, was very good, attempting a series-high 23 shot attempts, which tied his most field goal attempts in a game since the beginning of March. Facing elimination last year in the playoffs, LeBron was similarly aggressive, scoring 40 points on 25 shot attempts in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. In a Game 6 facing elimination against the Suns back in 2021, LeBron scored 29 points on 26 field goal attempts.

Expect him to look for his shot early and often on Monday.
