Friday’s NBA playoff schedule features an ESPN double-header beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET with Game 6 between the Cavaliers and Magic. Following the conclusion of that contest, James Harden and the Clippers will battle Luka Doncic and the Mavericks, as Los Angeles looks to force a pivotal Game 7 back in their home building on Sunday.

Donovan Mitchell Over/Under 24.5 Points

Donovan Mitchell Over/Under 24.5 Points
Donovan Mitchell scored only 13 and 18 points in the two road games against the Magic in this series. However, the Cavaliers were blown out in both of those contests, losing by 38 points and 23 points, respectively.
Mitchell had stark home-and-away splits during the regular season, but he still scored 25+ points in 11 of the 22 road games in which he played at least 35 minutes. Mitchell is averaging a healthy 19.2 field goal attempts per game in this series, even including the two games that resulted in a blowout. If Cleveland can simply stay competitive this evening, Mitchell should have every opportunity to hit the over.

Terance Mann Over/Under 4.5 Rebounds
Terance Mann has only eclipsed this market number twice in 5 games to begin this series, but it’s worth noting that he’s recorded 9 rebounds, 3 rebounds, and 7 rebounds in the three games in which he’s played more than 23 minutes. Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out once again, which should afford Mann at least 30 minutes of playing time on Friday. Mann had 10 rebound chances in Game 5 – he should have a good chance to get the job done.

Luka Doncic Over/Under 33.5 Points
Luka Doncic finally had an efficient shooting night in Game 5, and it resulted in 35 points. Though it was the first time in this series that Doncic scored more than 33 points, it’s worth noting that he’s attempted at least 24 field goals in each game, including 26 field goal attempts in Game 1, Game 2, and Game 5.
Doncic has yet to truly take over a game so far during these playoffs. Yet if there was a time for him to elevate his level of aggressiveness, it’s tonight, trying to prevent this opening round matchup from going back to Los Angeles for Game 7. Don’t be surprised if we see a Doncic masterclass this evening.
