This weekend we head to Texas Motor Speedway for the SpeedyCash.com 250. We have another Friday Night Truck race! The race is Friday night at 8:30pm ET on FS1. Practice and Qualifying is Friday at 4:05pm ET, which means we have another tight window race. This the second 1.5-mile race of the season for the Trucks. This is the same tire code they’re run at Texas, Las Vegas, and Kansas since 2022. The closest comp to Texas is Charlotte. I’ll be using those two tracks plus Las Vegas and Kansas. When building lineups this weekend, I’ll look at practice, recent 2024 speed, recent Texas data, high-speed intermediate tracks, and a few other things. The race winner has started sixth or better in ten straight Truck races at Texas.
Qualifying is on Friday afternoon, so there is a tight window between qualifying and the race. I will have projections and LineupHQ tags posted by 7:30pm ET on Friday.

The stages are 40, 40, and 87, which is a total of 167 laps. With 167 laps, we’re looking at a potential of 75.15 fastest lap points and 41.75 laps led points. There have been at least seven cautions in seven of the last ten races here. Even after the cautions we’re looking at close to 100 dominator points. We have seen some wild optimal lineups over the last five races here.
