When Did ESPN BET Launch?

The sports betting world instantly changed when PENN Entertainment issued a press release in August 2023 announcing that it had entered into a transformative, exclusive online sports betting agreement with ESPN, Inc.

The agreement gives PENN exclusive rights to use the ESPN name as a branded sportsbook for a 10-year term. PENN will pay $1.5 billion over the 10 years of the initial agreement.
