NFL DraftKings SlateIQ - 2020 Thanksgiving Edition

Welcome to our special Thanksgiving Day edition of NFL SlateIQ. For those of you unfamiliar with SlateIQ, it is a product here at RotoGrinders where we use our very own ResultsDB to find the most similar historical slates to the current week, and we take a look at how the top lineups are constructing their rosters compared to the field based on several key metrics. You can look at the main slate Week 11 version of SlateIQ here, or you can take a peek at the latest Showdown version of NFL SlateIQ here.

The Thanksgiving Day NFL slate is one of most DFSers’ favorite of the year, and it is extremely unique, so we wanted to put together a special version of SlateIQ that focuses on just these types of 3-game slates to see if we could learn anything that could gain us some leverage on the field. So, instead of our normal SlateIQ process, here we’ll take a look back at DraftKings tournaments from the 3-game slates over the last couple years to see what we could learn about roster construction, stacking and ownership from the top lineups compared to the field in this very different NFL slate.
