LA Clippers(USA TODAY Sports)`

The Philadelphia 76ers bounced back with a win thanks to a historic quarter Monday night. The Clippers made history their own with the biggest comeback ever in the NBA playoffs. Yasiel Puig and Matt Kemp return to L.A. to battle their former team. Here’s a sports betting recap from Monday and a lookahead to Tuesday.

Sixers Bounce Back

The Philadelphia 76ers bounced back after a game 1 loss, beating the Brooklyn Nets 145-123 Monday night to even up the series 1-1.

The 8-point favorites were only up by two at halftime, but the Sixers went off in the third quarter, scoring 51 points and tying the most points in a playoff quarter in NBA history. Philadelphia was 18-for-25 to start the second half, and scored 24 of the 51 third quarter points in the paint.

The Sixers were led by Joel Embiid’s 23 points, who happened to be a game-time decision for the second game in a row. Ben Simmons, JJ Redick, Tobias Harris, Mike Scott and Boban Marjanovic all contributed at least 15 points each in the high scoring affair.

The Sixers meet back up with the the six seed in Brooklyn Thursday. The Nets opened as just 2.5-point underdogs and the total is 227.

Clippers Makes Historic Comeback

In a stunning turn of events, the Los Angeles Clippers upset the Golden State Warriors with a record-setting come-from-behind victory late Monday night, 135-131.

Starting center Demarcus Cousins left early in the first quarter with a non-contact injury. It didn’t seem to phase the Warriors (-13.5) for most of the game, as Golden State led by as many as 31 points.

The Clippers battled back behind Lou Williams’ game high 36-point performance to execute the largest comeback in NBA playoff history.

Not only did the Warriors lose the game Monday, but they likely lost Cousins for the rest of the playoffs with a torn quad.

The Warriors look to avenge the embarrassing Thursday night in L.A., as they open as 7.5-point favorites.

Raptors Try To Even Up Series

Speaking of upsets, the No. 2 seed Toronto Raptors are 0-1 after a rough start against the Orlando Magic Saturday.

The Raptors hope to even up the first-round Eastern Conference matchup tonight. This time, they’ll try to stop DJ Augustin from scoring 25 points on 9-for-13 shooting (4-for-5 from 3-point range), one of the veteran’s best performances in his career.

At -10 (Over/Under 211.5), Toronto is a huge home favorite again, and early bets are on Orlando at just over 60 percent.

Much like game 2 of the Nets-Sixers series, I’ll be surprised if the underdogs match their game 1 performance. The Kawhi Leonard-led Raptors won’t be giving up easy shots tonight. Breakfast Pick: Toronto Raptors -10.

Prop Shop: Paul George 29.5 Points, Russell Westbrook Over/Under 24.5 Points

Oklahoma City Thunder’s Paul George cited a lingering shoulder issue after going 8-for-24 from the field and missing 11 of his 15 3-point attempts. George took the most field goal attempts in the game — seven more than Russell Westbrook —  and only scored 26 points. George’s shoulder is obviously hurting his shooting, and he seems apprehensive to drive the ball inside after only shooting six free throws in Saturday’s loss. He said he couldn’t lift or shoot for four days before game 1.

George might be more comfortable tonight, but it doesn’t sound like this injury is going away anytime soon. I expect Russell Westbrook to try to take control on the offensive end. Breakfast Pick: George Under 29.5 points (FanDuel Sportsbook), Westbrook Over 24.5 Points (PointsBet).

Puig Returns to L.A.

Clayton Kershaw got his first start of the year for the Los Angeles Dodgers (-185 moneyline) after recovering from a shoulder injury during spring training. Former teammate Yasiel Puig gave the Cy Young Award winner an untimely gift, hitting a two-run homer to give the Cincinnati Reds a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.

Puig’s early home run failed to fluster the veteran, who followed up by recording 17 consecutive outs against Reds hitters. Kershaw didn’t allow another run before being pulled in the seventh inning.

Trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth, outfielder Joc Pederson delivered late-game heroics with a two-run homer of his own to end the game in walk-off fashion.

The Dodgers and Reds play part two of a three-game series at 10:10 pm ET Tuesday. A win would extend their current win streak to four games after losing their previous six games.

The Reds will start right-hander Tyler Mahle who has pitched great in his first two outings. The 24-year-old pitcher has only surrendering one earned-run in 11 innings, but has yet to see enough run support from Cincinnati bats to add anything to his win column.

Los Angeles will throw a right-hander as well, putting Kenta Maeda on the mound. Maeda already has two wins this season but most recently suffered a loss to the St. Louis Cardinals last week. Maeda gave up five runs in just over five innings of play to the Cardinals. Posting an early-season 4.76 ERA, Maeda has already shown tendency to give up the long ball, which could prove costly against former Dodgers Puig and Matt Kemp. .

Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger will likely sit this one out after taking a 95 mph fastball to the knee Monday. Bellinger’s absence will do nothing but benefit Cincinnati, as Bellinger has been a nightmare for opposing pitchers this year batting .433 with 9 home runs. The value is with the underdog here. Breakfast Pick: Cincinnati Reds +160.

Ovi Remains Undefeated

I don’t actually know if Alex Ovechkin is undefeated, but I assume there’s a reason no one has fought the Russian since 2010. See what he did to one of the youngest hockey players in the NHL last night:
