This weekend, we head to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the North Carolina Education Lottery 200. The race is on Friday at 8:30pm ET on FS1. Practice and Qualifying starts at 1:30pm ET. I will have projections, pOWN%, and core/gpp/value tags up by 6pm ET. This is the same tire code they’ve run at Charlotte since 2022, and they run this tire code at Las Vegas, Kansas, and Texas. I will be using recent Charlotte data, recent 1.5-mile data, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. There have been at least five cautions in seven straight races and nine of the last ten races here.

The stages are 30, 30, and 74, which is a total of 134 laps. With 134 laps, we’re looking at 60.3 fastest-lap points and 33.5 laps-led points. After cautions, we’re looking at 80ish dominator points. The optimal lineup has had one more dominator in ten straight races here. That’s one driver with at least 15 dominator points. There have been races with multiple drivers, but they weren’t optimal.
