The 2020 best ball draft season is here on DraftKings, Underdog Fantasy, and all over the industry. Our strategy for fantasy football in 2020 has finally taken shape, and the time is now to start getting into the lobby and doing damage!
I had the opportunity to team up with some RG analysts behind the scenes to create rankings and a draft plan that focuses on the best ball format. Together we used performance data, coaching tendency, team win expectations, workload analysis, player athletic ability, player career arc, age, expected volatility, team identity, and much more in a systematic fashion to rate each player against the field of alternatives.
We processed all of this data and came up with a top 200 rankings list and the best ball strategy detailed below. We also identified a vibrant list of values and upside players to target throughout your drafts.
