2021 NFL DFS Usage Trends: Week 3

In this space, we look at usage patterns that stick out to me, team-by-team, to help us for the following week. This isn’t a comprehensive look at every target tree that will evolve as the season progress. Now, we’re looking at actionable items for the upcoming slate, stuff for which to look out, stuff to keep in mind. At times, there’s just nothing to say. Like, I don’t need to dig deep into the megavalue of target monsters every week, except maybe to reflect what it does to others. We know their volume is there and it’s dominant.

In the Grind Down and our shows, we get deeper into snaps and routes across the board. For this week, I’m focused more on the ball where it matters. If you want to see all of this data, you can find it in position-by-position in LineupHQ, game-by-game in GridironIQ, and the wealth of it all in JoshADHD’s excellent usage app. It’s very early in the week, so tread lightly with projections of any sort right now—whether it be points, market share, or ownership.
