DD Bracket Battle Breakdown: Round of 32

On Wednesday night the DraftDay Bracket Battle began with the Round of 64. Half of the competitors have been eliminated and we now head into tonight’s games with full knowledge of the matchups. So while the rest of America focuses on the March Madness Brackets, let’s take a look at the NBA daily fantasy brackets that have $32,000 in prizes on the line.

Summary of the First Round

• Both sides of the new “Grinders Live” program went down in flames on Wednesday night. SocrDave and DB730 both could not advance so the episode on Friday is sure to be a little more subdued than usual.

• Top 25 Grinders CSURam, Naapstermaan and DinkPiece all fell in the first round. Although Dinkpiece REALLY got the short end of the stick by drawing a matchup with DFBBC Champion Headchopper. To be honest, they both drew the short end of the stick in that matchup and it was a battle to the death of one potential champion.

• The self-anointed bad ass of daily fantasy sports, TheTakeOVER put up the highest score in the first round while routing another top player in runitup.

Alright I’m sorry that 32 players and 12 Grinders had to be eliminated but I can’t spend all day dwelling on it. Time to focus on the guys still involved in the chase for the $10,000 FIRST PLACE PRIZE. Here are your Round 2 Matchups:
