We have a difficult night here in college hoops. There is not a lot to love about a lot of these teams, and if you wanted to you could probably narrow down your research by four of these teams and really not feel bad about it. The games tonight are going to be low paced and defensive, except for the Kansas/West Virginia game, and who knows what Self is thinking about his rotations.

Clemson

Jordan Roper ($6,600) – Roper burst his way back onto the scene last game against Virginia Tech. This is a much more difficult matchup, but I hate Blossomgame’s price on FanDuel and Roper makes a solid GPP play with his high rate of 3-pointers made. Clemson has a really low total and I would not spend $6,000 on Roper in this matchup, but he does have a slight chance at a 30-point upside night if he can make his threes and is involved in the offense.

Georgia Tech

Charles Mitchell ($5,200) – Generally, the rule of thumb is to ignore players playing Clemson, but Tech is a favorite here and they are at home on a very short slate with not a lot of options. I am not very high on Mitchell, but he is cheap and I do think he can hit the 20 points needed for value tonight. After meandering through the wilderness in the middle part of the season, his minutes are beginning to pick up now and when he is on the court he is big, strong and able to produce in the paint. There is always risk of fouls, but he is cheap and Tech does all their offensive work inside.
