A top-ranked college football DFS player, Micah Bedard (darddog) is here to walk you through the upcoming DraftKings slate. Micah will break down his favorite DFS picks at each position and will also lay out his strategy for how he is attacking the slate overall.

Week 0 certainly helped wet the beak last weekend, but Week 1 is definitely the main course we’ve been waiting for.

Chevan Cordeiro was a great GPP play last week and was the highest-scoring QB of the slate. Pairing him with Nick Nash was the key to taking down any tournament last weekend.

Now we move onto five straight days of college football, starting on Thursday night. Draftkings went ahead and included all 11 games on Thursday. Seven of those 11 involve FCS teams.

Some might complain that we now have to research players we’ve never heard of and will probably only see one time this year. I like having all the games included, because if you dig in fully to those FCS teams, you can definitely find some plays and be rewarded.

Let’s dive right in!

There’s a lot to like about Grainger on Thursday. He is a true dual threat, running for 889 yards and 6 TDs a season ago. He also gets to face a FCS school in Rhode Island that only returns 3 starters on defense. The Rams do have a good offense led by Kasim Hill, and I think they give the Panthers more of a game than most would think. That’s why he has a higher ceiling than the guys that are more expensive than him because I think he’s most likely to see a full workload. Fire him up in all formats.
