Welcome back to another season of Daily Fantasy Football!
Just like last year, this article will highlight several DST units to consider when building your rosters. We have two main criteria to consider when looking at the D/ST position. We prefer a home favorite of -3 or more, and we want the opposing team to have an implied team total of less than 21 points. As the season progresses we’ll have more statistical data to go off of which can help us break some ties.
Last year, these criteria resulted in our recommendations averaging 9.5 points per game vs. the field average of 7.4 points. I don’t know about you, but I’ll take that two point advantage over a random defense any day!
We have seven teams who meet our criteria here in Week 1, so let’s dig in!
