DRAFT Announces Million Dollar Best Ball Championship
The always innovative DRAFT has announced what could be the largest Best Ball contest in history with a million dollar Best Ball Championship that will include a $100,000 first-place prize.
Here are the details of this event:
The Basics
• Draft any time prior to Week 1 kickoff on 9/6
• No re-draft at any point
• 18 round draft with 30-second pick clock
• $25 entry fee
• 150 entry maximum
The Three Phases of the Championship
• Regular Season
— 12 person contest running from Week 1 to 12
— Win and advance to the Playoffs
• Playoffs
— 3 week tournament of 12 person contests
— Must place in top 3 to advance each week
— Make it through all 3 weeks and advance to the Finals
• Finals
— 60 teams playing for $100,000 top prize
Payouts
Tiebreakers
• Regular Season – Whoever has the highest scoring player through 12 weeks. If two teams top scorers are tied, it will go to next highest scoring player until tie is broken.
• Playoffs/Finals – Higher scoring Regular Season team. If equal then highest scoring player that round.
