This article previews the type of racetrack, roster construction, past optimal lineups, core plays, tournament plays, value plays, and potential dominators. This is the best place to start making decisions on your lineups.

This weekend, we head to North Wilkesboro Speedway for the All-Star Race. The race is Sunday at 8pm ET on FS1. This weekend, there are two different tires teams can use. There is a prime tire, which is a normal tire we see weekly, but there is an option tire, which is a soft compound tire. There is a 3-5 tenth difference on fresh tires, but the soft tire has more and quicker fall off. There are 17 cars locked into the All-Star Race. The first and second place finishers in the Open plus the fan vote will round out the 20-car field. FanDuel won’t likely add any drivers, but DraftKings has all 37 drivers in the player pool. With the repave, I won’t use the data from last season as much. I’ll be using practice, 2024 speed data, recent short track data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

NASCAR DFS Picks: All-Star Race

There is a break at lap 100 and lap 150. There are 200 total laps. With 200 total laps, we’re looking at 90 potential fastest lap points and 50 laps led points on DraftKings. On FanDuel, we’re looking at 20 laps completed and 20 laps led points. Last season, there were only 2 cautions for 13 laps, and one of those cautions was the break at 100 laps. With the different tires and strategies, I’m going to have one to three dominators on DraftKings.
