This weekend we head to Kansas Speedway for the Heart of America 200. The race is Saturday night at 8pm ET on FS1. I mentioned this on the schedule page but wanted to mention it here as well. My daughter has a Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, and I will get projections up ASAP, no later than 6:30pm ET. Kansas is a 1.5-mile track, and the third 1.5-mile track of the season. This is the same tire they’ve run at Kansas since 2022, they also ran this tire combo at Las Vegas and Texas. I’ll be using the high-speed intermediate track data, recent Kansas data, 2024 intermediate data, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. The race winner has started inside the top ten in six of the last eight races here. Only four races of those eight races have had more than four cautions. While we see a lot of variances and issues in Cup, the Truck races have had more longer runs.

The stages are 30, 30, and 74, which is a total of 134 laps. With 134 laps, we’re looking at 60.3 potential fastest lap points and 33.5 laps led points. There has been anything from zero to two dominators over the last five Trucks races here. Kyle Busch dominated this race in 2021 at $15,000, and he wasn’t optimal.
