NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, December 29

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: Donovan Mitchell could be one of the more intriguing tournament plays on the slate if active. The questionable tag next to his name will help keep ownership at a reasonable level. Despite already ruling out Darius Garland and Evan Mobley, the Cavaliers are projected to score 4.6 points more than their season average.

TastefulTides: The Washington Wizards continue to be the worst defensive team in the NBA while also playing at the fastest pace. Right now, we aren’t showing a ton of projected ownership on the Nets. If they don’t get steamed up later in the day, then I will want to get to at least a couple of Nets on my primary lineup.

eys819: Bradley Beal is expected to return tonight, and the Suns should have their “Big 3” together for just the second full game all season. With Beal returning, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker are slightly over-priced. However, they should come with minimal pOWN% and they get one of the best matchups in the league against Charlotte. The Hornets rank just second-worst in defensive rating, so there is still plenty of opportunity for Durant or Booker to find a ceiling game given the matchup.

tcsmith031: The SAC/ATL clash has the highest over/under on the slate (251.5), and it’s nearly 10 points higher than the next-best game (BKN/WAS, 242). The Kings are slight underdogs here despite having the 2nd-highest implied team total (124.25) of the night.

Bobby Gomes: The SAC/ATL game has the highest total (251) with a close spread (ATL -1). Both teams are top 12 in offensive rating and their pace of play. Both teams are in the bottom 10 in defensive rating. This helps us understand why the total is so high, and it would make sense to use multiple players from each side.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
