NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, December 25

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: Here are the FP/min and usage differences of the key players on the Sixers with Joel Embiid off the floor this season:

- Tyrese Maxey: +0.22 DK, +0.21 FD, +8% usage – Tobias Harris: +0.06 DK, +0.06 FD, +4% usage – De’Anthony Melton: +0.26 DK, +0.22 FD, +9% usage – Kelly Oubre: +0.02 DK, +0.04 FD, +6% usage

squirrelpatrol: Paul Reed hasn’t started every game that Joel Embiid has missed this season, but he leads the team in minutes (352) with Embiid off the court this season and has put up 1.01 DK points per minute with no Embiid. Tyrese Maxes is second in minutes with no Embiid (304) and has put up a 1.37 DK point per minute average with Embiid off the court.

tcsmith031: Nikola Jokic is still averaging an impressive 1.83 DK FP/minute on the season, but he’s down to 1.69 FP/minute so far in December. Jokic still has an obvious ceiling, but those gaudy stat lines have been more elusive for Jokic since Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon returned to the lineup following injuries.

TastefulTides: With Joel Embiid off the court this season, only Tyrese Maxey (35.01%) has a higher usage rate than De’Anthony Melton (25.47%). Melton also has a team-best 10.7 increase in DK points when Embiid is off the court. Embiid leaves a massive void to fill, and it will allow us to play several Sixers players in our builds.

Bobby Gomes: Over the last 6 games (primarily without Kyrie Irving), Luka Doncic has had a usage rate of 39%. He has provided us with a DFS floor near 60 fantasy points and a ceiling around 80.
