Author Disclaimer: Please remember, these picks are not necessarily safe for your 50/50-H2H games. They are intended to separate yourself from the herd in an attempt to be contrarian and different. The most logical outcomes don’t always play out on a given NBA slate, so we are looking for the guys that may surprise, that few will roster.

Point Guard
Stephen Curry – It’s a short slate night with not a ton of studs available, and Stephen Curry is my favorite high-priced player. The matchup with John Wall and the Wizards might not be ideal, and there is still some risk of a blowout here, but Curry’s price has dropped a bit after a poor run of shooting which we know will turn around sooner rather than later. He should be safe for 35 points here with the enormous upside that he always carries.
Mike Conley – Conley has returned from injury and played very well last game, posting 40 FanDuel points vs. the Blazers. This is a dream matchup vs. the Knicks and Conley should feast as long as he’s in the game. A blowout looms, but that’s the case with several games tonight and Conley’s price has fallen to the point where he’s hard to avoid in such a great matchup.
Shooting Guard
Tony Allen – Allen has re-entered the starting lineup and met value several nights in a row. He’s never the most exciting option, but it is the Knicks and there should be plenty of opportunities for steals and transition buckets, which is where Allen truly thrives. I expect him to have no trouble eclipsing 20 fantasy points, which is enough at his price tag to make him worth rostering.
Brad Beal – Beal and the Wizards have a tough task ahead of them, taking on the Warriors at Oracle while being on the second half a back-to-back. But the Wizards are still fighting for playoff position and they won’t give up easily in this one. He should see close to his normal minutes and at $5800 makes an enticing play, especially with the Warriors missing Klay Thompson, who is a very solid defender.
