I think it’s safe to say the Celtics stunned the Bucks in Game 1, taking just a two point in lead at halftime before outscoring the Bucks 36 to 21 in the 3rd quarter. The Celtics made it a point to try and contain Giannis Antetokounmpo as much as possible with multiple defenders. Giannis finished with 22 points, but on an ugly 7-for-21 shooting night. The biggest storyline of the night was how well both Al Horford and Aron Baynes defended him. Per ESPN Stats & Info, Giannis shot just 2-for-10 against this duo. Horford ended up playing 32 minutes, dropping a 20/11/3/3 block line. Baynes only played nine minutes and finished with four points, but he effort was more on the defensive side.
