NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions for Tuesday (2/4)

Grant of the Trail Blazers

I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections.

Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.

We have 7 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 2/4. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Tuesday evening.

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry! PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Pacers vs. Trail Blazers NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Pacers vs. Trail Blazers NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Jerami Grant Less Than 3.5 Rebounds

Grant’s rebounding outlook against Indiana leans strongly toward less than this number. Recent trends show him averaging 2.25 rebounds over his last 8 games. Our projections reinforce this, with our projections giving him 2.82 rebounds with a 64.8% probability for Grant staying below 3.5 and a 7.1% edge compared to market expectations.

Rockets vs. Nets NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Rockets vs. Nets NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Trendon Watford Less Than 12.5 Points + Rebounds

Watford’s recent production and role make him likely to stay below 12.5 combined points/rebounds against Houston. In his last outing against the Rockets (Feb 1), he recorded 6 points and 5 rebounds in 15 minutes – typical output given his bench role averaging 10-15 minutes nightly.

We project him at 10.41 Points + Rebounds with a 64.3% hit rate and a 6.5% edge.

Heat vs. Bulls NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Heat vs. Bulls NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Duncan Robinson Less Than 6.5 Rebounds + Assists

Robinson’s perimeter-focused role (38.0% 3-point shooting) and limited rebounding/playmaking involvement make him likely to stay below 6.5 combined rebounds/assists against Chicago. His season averages (2.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists) align with our 5.43 projection, while recent starts show 5 instances exceeding this threshold in his last 10 games.

Per our Defense vs. Archetypes Tool this matchup vs. the Bulls is a below-average matchup for rebounding in Robinson’s role.

With our simulations showing a 62.7% success probability and a 5% statistical edge, the matchup favors below-average production.
