Weather Report and Forecast for the NFL Conference Championships

Broncos WR Sutton

We’re on to the Conference Championships of the NFL playoffs, and while both games are being played outside in the elements, neither game should see any significant weather impacts.

This NFL weather report will highlight any extreme temperatures, precipitation, and most importantly, high winds that we could see across the NFL landscape this week. If a game isn’t specifically listed in this week’s report, that means the weather is quiet enough for it not to be an issue in that particular game.

NFL Conference Championships Weather Report and Forecast

As always, it’s best to stay up to date with the very latest forecasts, so follow me on Twitter/X @KevinRothWx and keep an eye on my main weather page. A reminder that while temperature and rain/snow can impact a game, the greatest impact by far comes from high wind, so I’ll be looking to highlight those spots when possible.

Sunday, January 25th

New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos – It’s cold in Denver, with high temperatures in the 20s…but everything else looks good. At worst, we could see just a stray snow flurry, and winds will hold around or under 10 mph. Cold weather is a slight downgrade to offensive efficiency and special teams, but it doesn’t shut down the playbook the way that high winds or heavy rain does.

LA Rams @ Seattle Seahawks – Perfect weather in Seattle. Temperatures are cool but not bitter cold (in the 40s), winds are light, and no precipitation is expected.

How Will the Weather in the Conference Championships Affect Betting & Fantasy Football Picks?

In short, I don’t think the weather will impact fantasy sports or sports betting. There is a slight downgrade to passing and longer kicks in the cold air in Denver, but I don’t view it as enough to alter any bets or DFS picks.

In case things change, I’ll be posting radar GIFs to Twitter/X as we get closer to kickoff.
