Each week we will provide a game-by-game breakdown of offensive and defensive line injuries and what that impact they may have for DFS purposes.

Week 1

We are back this year with the injury breakdown for players that most never look at or even think much of. In Week 1, we do not have a huge impact overall but there are a couple of spots that are interesting. Moving forward, I fully intend to make this article easier to digest as well as add some data to help make decisions on just how much of an impact each player missing would be. Defense – Vontaze Burfict (Susp)

Offensive Lineman – Anthony Castonzo (Q)

Defense – None

Fantasy Impact:

While the Bengals have a healthy line coming into the season, this is not exactly a strength of the roster with some real question marks up front. Cincy did use a first rounder on Billy Price in hopes that he can take control from the center position for the foreseeable future. Starting weakside linebacker Vontaze Burfict will miss the first four games of the season which is a pretty big hit considering he grades out as their best coverage guy on top of the great run defense. On the Colts side, the only real injury question mark is Castonzo who would leave a pretty sizable void on the left side. Overall, we should see pretty limited fantasy impact based on current injuries.
