Sunday Games

Detroit @ Chicago

Detroit Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – T.J. Lang (O)

Defense – Darius Slay (O) Jalen Reeves-Maybin (Q) Ziggy Ansah (Q)

Chicago Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – None

Fantasy Impact:

The Lions will once again be without Lang on the offensive line, but the biggest news comes on the defense with Darius Slay out. He is one of the best corners in the league and a key to what Detroit is able to do from a scheme perspective. I like the Bears WR quite a bit more than I expected coming into the week.

Chicago remains healthy when it comes to a injury report, but do not forget the line is without Kyle Long who was lost for the year.

New Orleans @ Cincinnati

New Orleans Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Marcus Davenport (O)

Cincinnati Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Alex Redmond (D)

Defense – Vontaze Burfict (O) Nick Vigil (O) Darqueze Dennard (O)

Fantasy Impact:

The big news from the Saints is obviously the addition and subtraction of Dez, but overall this team is healthy and will come into Cincy with all of their main weapons.

Cincinnati is pretty banged up at the linebacker spot with two starters out again and the secondary will be a little thin with Dennard also missing this one. Starting guard Alex Redmond is doubtful with a hamstring injury and looks likely to miss this one. Not that the Saints offense needed the help, but it sets up for Brees and company to keep marching. On the flip side, Cincy will likely have to air it out a bit to keep pace.

Atlanta @ Cleveland

Atlanta Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – None

Cleveland Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – J.C. Tretter (Q) Desmond Harrison (Q)

Defense – Damarious Randall (Q) Denzel Ward (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

While Atlanta has a pretty clean injury report they remain one of the hardest hit teams in the league from injuries missing six starters in total. Don’t confuse this report with any sort of expectation that they turn it around defensively.

Cleveland is banged up on the offensive line with Tretter and Harrison questionable. Harrison was a full participant and is likely closer to probable heading into Sunday with Tretter still limited by the ankle injury. I expect Randall to play despite his questionable tag and there is an outside shot we see all four players listed active. With that said just understand they are playing hurt.

New England @ Tennessee

New England Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Trent Brown (Q) Shaq Mason (Q)

Defense – Dont’a Hightower (Q)

Tennessee Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Jack Conklin (O)

Defense – Derrick Morgan (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

New England is up to their usual tricks listing all injured players as questionable. We use practice as an indicator and Brown is the only one who has not practiced and more likely doubtful. Both Mason and Hightower were limited coming into the weekend and we will have to wait for inactives to see their status.

Conklin has been ruled out for the Titans with a concussion, which is scary to consider who will be playing in his spot given how bad he looked on Monday night. Overall this is a pretty straight up game with the injuries on both sides limited.

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis

Jacksonville Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Telvin Smith (Q) AJ Bouye (O)

Indianapolis Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – None

Fantasy Impact:

The Jaguars continue to have defensive players show up on the report and this week is not different we have Smith who would be a big loss, limited in practice. We will want to keep an eye out for the inactives and Doyle should see a slight boost if he sits.

Indy may not have any guys on the report this week, but much like Atlanta we should not let that confuse the fact that so many of their players are already on the IR.

Arizona @ Kansas City

Arizona Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Mike Iupati (Q) Justin Pugh (Q)

Defense – Corey Peters (Q) Robert Nkemdiche (O) Budda Baker (Q)

Kansas City Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Mitch Morse (O)

Defense – Justin Houston (Q) Anthony Hitchens (Q) Eric Berry (D)

Fantasy Impact:

Arizona is battling injuries in a week where they cannot afford to have starters out. Already and uphill climb trying to knock off a tough Kansas City team, the Cardinals have two starting offensive lineman limited in practice with questionable tags and key defensive lineman missing as well. You already liked the Chiefs so just go with that.

Kansas City does have a couple of key injury spots, but this is nothing that changes our thoughts for fantasy purposes.

Buffalo @ New York Jets

Buffalo Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Trenty Murphy (O) Tremain Edmunds (Q)

New York Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Spencer Long (D)

Defense – Steve McLendon (Q)

Fantasy Impact:

Apparently this game counts so just know that these injuries do little to tilt the scales towards or against playing guys here. Your best bet is likely to be with DST in what looks to be a #BadGame

Washington @ Tampa Bay

Washington Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Morgan Moses (Q) Trent Williams (O)

Defense – None

Tampa Bay Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Vinny Curry (O) Kendell Beckwith (O) M.J. Stewart (O)

Fantasy Impact:

In a shocker the Redskins have offensive lineman on the injury report, which is basically a required action over the past few seasons. Outside of that Washington has become as healthy as we have seen in quite some time.

The Bucs are in the same boat as Indy and Atlanta. Injuries have demolished this squad and as a result their defense is terrible. You may be wondering who Kendell Beckwith and M.J. Stewart even are, well they are the depth that should be playing, but cannot due to their own issues. Start players against Tampa every week.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Oakland

Los Angeles Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – Joey Bosa (O) Kyle Emanuel (Q) Darius Philon (Q)

Oakland Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – None

Fantasy Impact:

Overall this game is being played straight up as Bosa has not played all season and Oakland has a clean report.

Miami @ Green Bay

Miami Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Ted Larsen (D) Laremy Tunsil (Q) Ja’Waun James (Q)

Defense – Kiko Alonso (Q)

Green Bay Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – Bryan Bulaga (Q)

Defense – Blake Martinez (Q) Kevin King (O)

Fantasy Impact:

Miami has some serious question marks up front this week with three starters questionable or worse. Each of the three were limited in practice and even if any of them can go we are likely dealing with a unit that is less than 100%. Kiko is unlikely to play despite the questionable tag with an ankle injury that has kept him out of practice all week. I think the Green Bay defense makes for a solid play given the situation the Dolphins are in.

Bulaga was able to practice in full and looks to be more probable than questionable. On the defensive side however they will be without King and Martinez was limited putting his status in question. Overall we like the same players we did prior to any of this news.

Seattle @ Los Angeles Rams

Seattle Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – D.J. Fluker (Q)

Defense – K.J. Wright (Q) Shamar Stephen (Q) Bradley McDougald (Q)

Los Angeles Breakdown

Offensive Lineman – None

Defense – None

Fantasy Impact:

Seattle comes in pretty banged up with Fluker and Stephen not even practicing and Wright and McDougald both limited. A lot of this is not new though so we should expect similar potential as we have seen for much of the year.

The Rams are as healthy as any team in the league. You should continue to play Rams.
