Top NBA DFS Picks for February 28, 2024
Kyrie Irving ($6,900)
Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic are leading the charge for the Dallas Mavericks and it continues to show up in their production. It has been mentioned on several occasions that the Toronto Raptors are not the same defensive team that they once were prior to the trade and in previous years. If you are going to give me Mr. Irving in a spot against a rough defensive team at a $3,000 discount to Luka Doncic, sign me up. He’s been over 40 fantasy points in 4 of the last 5 games, and I think he has a really good shot at continuing to keep this going tonight. I love him at this price tonight.
Kawhi Leonard ($7,000)
This is a fantastic spot for Kawhi Leonard tonight as he will get to face the Lakers without Paul George suiting up. He will be one of the primary offensive focal points and will be tasked with taking his defense to a different level tonight as well. It’s also interesting to note that with PG13 off the floor, Kawhi has a 28.41% usage rate. He is a slightly do-it-all type of player in a situation where he will have to do it all. I love him for tournaments tonight with the pricing on Ownersbox.
Andre Drummond ($4,400)
Never in a million years did I think I would be writing up Andre Drummond as a great DFS player with another starting center on the team, but here we are. The Bulls seem to want to play Drummond and Vucevic at the same time, in the same game, on the same court. LOL. While this may not be what I envisioned, it’s happening! As a result, Drummond is just too cheap here for the minutes he possesses. With these types of minutes, he has a really nice floor and an opportunity to hit some incredible ceiling. Fire up Drummond with confidence and a very reasonable 6-game slate.
Closing Thoughts
We have a fair amount of really good point-per-dollar plays tonight. We need to be taking advantage of this while we can. The pricing will adjust at some point, but until it does, let’s continue to fire away at the best plays. Good luck Grinders!
