This article is intended to provide you with a few plays to help you build tournament-winning lineups on OwnersBox Fantasy Sports. What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for the NBA, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. We are getting incredible flexibility for all positions. It consists of 4 guard positions, 4 frontcourt positions, and a superflex. How many days have you wanted to play 5 centers because of the value but have only been limited to 2? OwnersBox is here to give you that fix and allow very creative lineup building. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NBA DFS Picks for March 13
Cade Cunningham ($6,700)
Cade is starting to show some serious upside down the stretch of a meaningless season for this team. Tonight, he gets a really good matchup against the Toronto Raptors. If Immanuel Quickley and Gary Trent sit, this team is going to look like Memphis Grizzlies Lite. Even if the Raptors put together a reasonable NBA team, Cade should still feast here. He’s been playing stable minutes, and what I love are the peripheral stats that have been there to support the scoring that he’s been putting together. Against a team that has very little defensive resistance these days, Cade is a favorite target of mine in tournaments.
Luka Doncic ($10,200)
I fully understand that I don’t have to sell you on playing Luka on a nightly basis. He is playing out of his mind right now and has one of the highest ceilings in DFS. What I will sell you on is how easy it is to get him into lineups here at OwnersBox. There are plenty of cheap value plays that you will have access to tonight, so I just don’t think we need to be trying to find ways to not play Luka. I think this is a lock-button spot for him and you just build from there. Hopefully, he doesn’t let us down, but even if he does, he may still have some of the highest raw points on the slate.
Chris Paul ($5,400)
Father Time is definitely closing in on some of the league’s legends, but it looks as if CP3 is headed to the fountain of youth for a bit until Stephen Curry can get back on the floor. He still has a little left in the tank and is showing some flashes of upside. He was very close to a double-double in the previous matchup and would’ve had a really nice fantasy score had he done that. This should be a very competitive matchup versus the Dallas Mavericks, and one of the things he will do is get this team organized and pile on the assists. We also saw him take 19 shots in the previous game, and while I don’t expect him to take that many tonight, I do think he will end up in the 12-15 real-life points range. If the assists hit double digits, we will be looking at a really nice score from him for tournaments.
Closing Thoughts
We have a fair amount of really good point-per-dollar plays tonight and need to be taking advantage of this while we can. The pricing will adjust at some point, but until it does, let’s continue to fire away at the best plays. Good luck Grinders!
